Thanks to COVID, he works 90% less now, finding time for online college, cooking and new furniture, yet didn’t invest even one extra minute into our couple. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend I loved him. His response? "Is that why you have been so clingy and annoying lately?" FML
Today, I was hanging out with my boyfriend. Everything seemed to be going well, when all of a sudden he turned to look at me with a pensive and thoughtful expression. I expected him to say something important, but instead he just said, "I was wondering, how does it feel to be fat?" FML
Today, I treated my boyfriend to an expensive dinner using the last of my paycheck. I had to excuse myself to the bathroom a few minutes in. I came back to find my plate empty. His excuse was, "I didn't want the food to get cold." FML
Today, after an entire week of doing all the household chores, and feeling under appreciated, I suggested to my boyfriend that we go on a date night, to feel a little more connected. He has spent all day trying to get out of it. I offered to pay, because I just want to feel loved again. FML
Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, my long-distance boyfriend was at my house for a 10-day visit. He told me that we'd never spent so much time together, so he didn't know me well and now, he'd finally met the "real me". He doesn't like it. FML

I sorry. Sometimes my boyfriend has done this, too, although I think he's probably like that not because he doesn't care, but because he's not sure how to respond. Don't worry - just talk to him and hopefully he'll be a little more reasonable.

If this was precious time you got to spend with him, you should have been happy with that and then told him later on another day that you feel there's distance. How about he try to make HER happy by, y'know, making time to see her and making her feel wanted. If he'd given her the time and attention she deserves, she wouldn't have been crying and would have been, wait for it, happy! If he doesn't want to be her boyfriend anymore he should say so, instead of avoiding her and then ignoring her unhappiness about being neglected. If he does want to be her boyfriend, he should CARE for her. Relationships are a two-way street, and both parties have a responsibility to look out for the other's wellbeing. OP, your boyfriend sounds like an emotionally-deficient loser. Unless he can have a proper, adult conversation about the way he's treated you and how he's made you feel, DTMFA. You deserve much better.
