Today, I spilled my guts out to my fiancé about some insecurities I've been having. I then turned to look at him through tears at his expressionless face as he texted someone. FML
Today, I worked up the courage to confess my bulimia to my girlfriend of three months. It's a touchy subject for me and I ended up in tears. When I was done talking, I looked up to see my girlfriend's disgusted face. She claimed I had a 'vomit fetish', said I was 'half a man' and broke up with me. FML
Today, my friend needed to talk out bad feelings. Then she urged me to open up as well. I hate doing it, but it only seemed fair, so I confessed my deep insecurities. Not only did she agree with everything, but she also helpfully added that I'm boring, have no life, and all my dreams are unattainable. FML
Today, I went to see my girlfriend to talk about my anxiety, because it's been a big issue. She broke up with me instead. FML
Today, I went to see a therapist for the first time because I've been feeling depressed lately. I opened up and said everything that was on my mind. I really spilled my guts. After a good 30 minutes, her first question was, "Do you always talk this much?" FML
Today, I poured my heart out to my girlfriend with a serenade. After I finished, she told me she'd come over to tell me she'd found someone else and wanted to break up. FML
Today, I shat myself in front of my girlfriend's family, after drinking too much the previous night and waking up with major stomach problems. FML
Today, my girlfriend gave me a speech on me "not being manly enough". I started crying. FML
Today, I told my girlfriend I wanted to tell her something important. Coincidentally, she did too. She wanted to tell me that she thinks she's actually gay. I wanted to tell her I love her. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me telling me I have problems communicating and that I didn't understand her. When I asked her why she didn't talk to me about this before she said "I didn't want to talk about it." FML

32 - if you're on a phone, that FML isn't on the same page. Also, if you're viewing the FMLs from top to bottom (like most people), you would probably read that one AFTER this one (unless you are in the minority and check every few hours like you and I do). So it was a perfectly legitimate thing to say to keep people from going "lol, WTF? *thumb down*"

And think about the future, 32. I've seen perfectly good and humorous comments get burried because people started seeing it in the random section, and therefore had no way to connect the FML to the one being refferenced. In fact, for the good of FML, I propose that we all do this.

Easy solution to feeling like you're not getting what you want/need out of a relationship: communication. The worst thing that's going to happen is someone yells, and really is that so scary? If you can't discuss things like mature adults, maybe that means it's not a great fit. I hate passive aggressive bs, because if he is "spilling his guts" by saying this, he's keeping a lot inside.

Nope, she isn't going to "catch herself". My daughter is the same way. She doesn't think she's doing anything wrong. Her and I have fought a lot about this, until she can admit it's an issue, it's not going to stop.
