Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was so desperate for a friend that I posted a Craigslist ad to find one. Now my phone's filled with spam and I still don't have any friends. FML
Today, I put up an ad on Craig's List to find a best friend. I don't know what's more pathetic: looking for a best friend online, or the ad being removed almost instantly. FML
Today, I tried the 'Casual Encounter' page on Craigslist. Three hours, a bunch of spam, and a 30-minute call to some company, speaking to some lady I could barely understand to recover the $40 somehow charged to my card. I think I might want to try other ways to meet people. FML
Today, my friend posted my picture on Craigslist under the "men seeking men" section. I got 16 replies with 2 hours. He then decided to post another picture of me under "men seeking women" to compare results. The only reply I got was from a man. FML
Today, I was looking at dating profiles with my single friend, trying to find a guy for her, and we found my husband's profile. FML
Today, I agreed to help a "friend" again, after only finding out yesterday she'd been lying to me. FML
Today, my friend put my phone number on Craigslist. I still can't find the ad, but obviously everyone else can because I still haven't stopped receiving naked pictures. FML
Today, I made a Craigslist ad looking for hot and horny women that wanted some. I only got one reply, from another guy asking me if this kind of thing actually works. FML
Today, I wrote a Facebook post venting about the horrible things I've been going through lately, hoping my friends would console me. I discovered that my English teacher from 30 years ago, the creepy dude who keeps asking me out, and some random chick I don't even know are my only "friends." FML
Today, I found an ad for my job at my company on an online job board. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?
Thanks, your FML was submitted, and will appear in the moderation queue soon!

Look in the classes or activities sections. Or Meetup is good. I found a lot of cool friends on there just doing activities that our group is interested in. I know it sucks finding new friends when out of school, and sometimes you don't have that much in common with co-workers enough to hang out. Good luck!

I have a question not related to the post, but when you're moderating an FML and if you like it, do you click yes or no?
Orgasms 4
You click maybe. :D

You should click "No" if you don't want them to reject it, and "yes" if you agree that it should be moderated, aka, trashed. HTH

I'm embarrassed by all of the pathetic losers here who immediately volunteer to be the OP's friend. I hope the OP takes you up on your insincere offers and torments you with his tedious and/or disturbing personality that you can only get rid of with a court order and a course of antibiotics.

Whoever says (I'll be your friend) stop, it's just a lame comment to make them feel they are better than OP.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's the exact same as meeting a stranger at a mall or concert. Just behind a computer first. Some are good some are bad. EXACTLY like meeting someone at say, a bar.
