Today, I had a date with this really cute guy. He invited me over to make dinner at his place. Eventually we end up in his bedroom to have sex. He pulls down my panties and says, "You need to shave that shit." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I had a date with a guy I've had a crush on for months. Not knowing where the date would take us, I shaved my pubic hair. Later, in the middle of making out with the guy, my dad storms into the room to tell me, "I had to get some Draino, your pubes clogged the shower." FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were messing around. When he slipped his hand down my pants, he scratched my pubic hair and said "scruffy, scruffy, scruffy." FML
Today, I went on another date with a guy I've had a crush on for a long time. Afterwards, we went back to my place for the first time and things got heated. While taking my pants off, he recoiled and asked if I thought it was still No Shave November. FML
Today, I was in gym class talking to a guy I like. My friend then decided to come up behind me and pants me, pulling down my underwear along with them. His only comment? "Someone needs to shave." FML
Today, I saw my boyfriend shaving his pubic hair before we had sex. This would be fine, except he was saying "Nom nom nom, I eat cock hairs" to his electric razor. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy I've had a crush on for a while. I shaved my legs and armpits and wore a short dress. It wasn't until I got to the meeting that I noticed I only shaved one of my legs. FML
Today, my boyfriend stopped in the middle of sex to tell me he couldn't take it anymore because my legs were too hairy. I shaved yesterday. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy I really liked. The date was going great until he decided to try flossing his teeth with my hair. FML
Today, my boyfriend requested that I shave my lips so I spent an hour in the shower carefully removing every trace of pubic hair. Turns out he wanted me to shave my moustache, not my carpet. FML
Today, my date saw me naked, and was disgusted that 1. I shaved my pubes into a landing strip instead of completely bald, and 2. I missed a few hairs below my knee while shaving my legs. His actual words as he was half out the door were that he "wanted Princess Leia, not Chewbacca." FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?

there's nothing wrong with pubes, but if you need a machete to get through the jungle, it might be time to start shaving

oh my gosh! thank you! you're the first guy who has said this! I don't shave down there... yet. but when I shave my bikini line it itches reeeeeally bad, so it's annoying. and if people expect me to shave down there, they better be expecting me to itch it too.

I'm a guy who keeps it shaved. A woman with hair down there is disgusting to me, and obviously many agree with me. YDI And shaving a jayjay is no more difficult than shaving a scrotum.

266 if he didn't shave, THATS the reason he stayed a virgin...

Look, do not pay attention to any of these unhygenic apes telling you that it is ok to have a big bush down there because it is not. It is dirty and ugly and no guy with amy taste will tap that if it has a hairline. You people out there still insist that "it's personal preference" blah blah blah? Tell me, if I grew my facial out indefinitely, without even trimming it and barely cleaning it, do you think that you (assuming that you are female) will want to even kiss me after, say, 18 months? I can bitch and whine about personal preference and free will and whatnot, but that changes nothing. You still won't want to come in contact in amy way with that beard and 'stache for any reason. So you cannot complain about this guy being an asshole for being disgusted by something that he rightfully should be. In conclusion, YDI 500%. Shave. Now. Oh, and @ 3 - I hardly think that us guys don't know how hard it isto shave when we have to do way more than you chicks do. Get ur facts striaight.

+1 to this entire conversation about pubic hair. It's been very effective.

I really think people should do whatever is most comfortable for them. Just like you don't have to shave/trim your pubic hair, your significant other doesn't have to give you oral sex. I really think people should be okay with just trimming though. It's practically the same as far as not getting in the way. I dated someone once with really sensitive skin and if she shaved completely the area got irritated and sometimes hairs got ingrown. To me that was a lot grosser than hair itself could ever be, plus it was painful for her. It seems shallow and selfish to force your gf to go through that if it's like that for her. I'm really disappointed jandersoniii isn't posting on here.... lol

To Zarc: speak for yourself you knuckle-dragging, godless, depressed slave. You always have the choice in how you respond to fights, tension, etc.

#1: "Can you say insensitive"? No, but I can say ****, *****, tramp, slag, cum dumpster, Paris Hilton, etc. And the same for her bf.

@273 - I wouldn't come into contact with that beard of yours because of your attitude, not the actual beard (though if you didn't even wash it, I would stay away because if you don't clean your beard, who knows what else you don't clean). As long as the guy has a good personality and keeps the beard clean, I wouldn't care how big and bushy it was. Hell, I like a man with stubble. You're also living in a fantasy world. Newsflash: humans are mammals. Mammals are characterized by being warm-blooded and having hair. Therefore, humans, being mammals, are naturally hairy. It's human culture (particularly that in North America) that demonizes women who have hair other than on the top of their heads. This whole conversation is rather depressing. Not only for the angry mob going after women having body hair, but everyone saying she deserved it for opting to have sex early on in the dating relationship. What about the guy? They've both been on the same number of dates together, so why shouldn't he deserve it for putting out "too early"? Not that I expect any reasonable answers, considering that the attitude is so ingrained and this is the internet, after all. Sometimes I really wish we went the road the bonobos went and became a matriarchal species. Just look at how they settle fights, say hi, and deal with tension. That would be so much more desirable. Instead we had to follow along the road of chimps...
