Today, I took my road test. I'd never had driver's training and my mom taught me how to drive. I failed the test so badly, and when I got home my mom admitted to having taught me how to drive completely wrong because she didn't want me to get my license as she thinks I'm too young. I'm 18. FML

file a complaint that your mom tried to have you killed.

The best revenge takes only five words: "I choose your nursing home."

18! 18! 18! i cant beLIEVE i cant ******* believe u think is ******* bad to not hav your liscense at ******* 18!! u r such a ******* spoiled brat y do ppl have sympathy for u?? u asshole

Seeing as you can get your license at 16, I think she has a right to want it by 18 you jerk, just because you're old and unable to drive, by the sounds of your bitching, doesn't mean the OP has to wait

Maybe she needs/has a job to pay for college or whatever but she has no way of getting there because she can't drive? There are many circumstances that a person would need a license at a young age, you can't assume things like an ignorant moron.

Why do you use "text" speak when you have a full keyboard available? I'm getting a headache trying to read this. Even when I used an ordinary nine button keypad to type text messages, I could still easily use real words.

my sister is 21 and still my parents dont want her to no how to drive SOO she lives in the city now....public transit...public ******* transit

u ungrateful bitch u obiviously dont deserve to be on the road if u think 18 is old...

You obviously don't deserve to be near the internet with all this hate inside you.

I'd leave my mom if she did that to me. What a bitch

Neither of my parents thought it was important to take me out driving after I passed drivers ed and I needed it a lot still do. Now I'm 23, unemployed with a permit but I'm stuck in Michigan again where I have no friends and my parents still both refuse to take me out driving. FML

I voted YDI only because learning solely from your parents isn't the best strategy even if they're not trying to sabotage you. While some people benefit from years of experience driving and actually become good drivers, the vast majority become lazy, take shortcuts, forget proper courtesy, and become awful drivers out of complacency. They'll probably pass all their bad driving habits on to you. The driving test looks at your ability to memorize details of what the DMV considers proper driving technique, so a professional instructor is your best choice. Aside from that, FYL for having a parent who can't cut the umbilical cord.

I got my license without taking drivers training as well, luckily my mom taught me how to drive correctly. Well then again maybe not, I'm a horrible driver, but I atleast passed the test. I just could never ever pass it if I moved out of state. :(

Maybe she thought you were like that person who freaked out when she got pulled over by the police

I dont know about you, but driving is pure common sense to me. I never took a class never was taught anything and walked right in and passed. Not hard at all dude
