Today, I found out that my husband was trying to cheat on me while I was away at basic training. I signed up for the service to pay off his debt. FML

Hope you learned enough training to kick his ass.

coming from a military dude, i would suggest not joining for something so trivial. it's a long-term commitment, and, for some, a very miserable one. many others join for college and/or college debt, some for zeal and patriotism, and some because they have no other options in life. i don't think that was a proper decision based on your motive, but...well, you can't rewind time! make the most of it! :] |the kid|

Dump his sorry ass for a guy who can actually manage his money and who won't treat you like crap. Good luck and whatever you do just don't say with him!!!

heeeey you sound like my old roommate's wife! And if you ARE my old roommate's wife, he still owes me $1,000 to pay off the credit card he stole from me.

don't ever give someone an easy way out. they'll take advantage. he shouldve done what HE had to to to settle HIS debt. he was playng you before he even tried cheating

Thank you for serving our country You are too good for him. Lose him an let him pay off his own debts. By the way why didn't he join the service to pay off his own debts? As far as how well or not so well the service pays - a steady income is better than no income at all.
