Today, after I was on deployment 6000 miles away, and because my wife was struggling pretty bad with work, kids, and taking care of everything on her own, she finally had a breakdown so I came home early to help. I found out she was fucking another Navy dude the whole time. I should've stayed out there. FML

the army pays decently...esp if you're married and your debt isn't sky-high. it's just a matter of managing your finances like any job. but joining for the sole purpose of paying off debt? stupid. maybe he will be 'successful' at cheating on you when you get shipped off somewhere. that's a sucky way to figure out your hubby is a loser, and now you are government property. good luck with all of that!
