I only wear makeup on special occasions, people know and expect the real me, and always tell me I clean up nice when I do have an occasion to dress up for. And my boyfriend is never mortified in the morning waking up next to me. People are way too high maintenance on a daily basis nowadays. Whatever happened to embracing what you are given and just being comfortable in your own skin?

Well duh, when you wear makeup all the time, thats probably how he sees you, and without makeup you're not what he signed up for. So either don't wear makeup your whole life, or wear it all the time.
