Today, I had to slowly explain to my boss that in some parts of the world, it's currently winter, due to the different hemispheres. He scoffed, accused me of "making shit up," and said that if I took him for a fool again, I'd be looking for a new job. FML

Today, I walked into work, after having given my boss a weather prediction last week, so he could decide on which day to open a new company division. I was immediately taken aside and written up for "providing false information, adversely impacting morale". FML

Today, I have the flu, so I called my boss to let him know I couldn't come in today. He told me to think my "lies" through better, and claimed that you can only get the flu during winter. So I guess I'm faking my pale skin, short breath, runny nose, and constant sneezing. FML

Today, I've been freezing in my office for days at work. When I finally complained about it to a coworker, she led me into my office, said, "Let me show you something," then pointed out the thermostat I'd never noticed was even there and turned it up with a pitying look. FML

Being in charge doesn't mean you're intelligent. But it sounds like you're Boss has a fragile ego. He'll take any criticism as a challenge to his authority. Tread lightly around this guy he only likes sycophants. I suggest changing jobs as soon as its permissible cause this guy will stagnate your growth.

My supervisor proudly exclaimed to me that her "artist" daughters informed her that mixing black and white paints together will make grey... as if this was knowledge only acquired through being an artist... She teaches three year olds... I worry for them...
