Today, a woman reached out to me on Twitter to ask me if my dad was OK, since she talks to him every day and they haven't talked in a few days. She also doesn't know if he's in prison or not. My father left when I was 3, and I haven't talked to him in months. FML
Today, my roommates thought I wasn't home and started talking about me. Apparently I'm a lesbian, devil worshiper, and an alcoholic. I didn't know my life was so fascinating. FML
Today, I got pulled over for a broken taillight. When I rolled down the window, the cop asked me if I was smoking crack. When I told him I didn't do drugs, he didn't believe me since he could detect a foul odor coming from my car. I'd just passed gas big time. FML

Today, I found out my ex-husband quit smoking and went back to school for his new girlfriend. I’d been behind his ass getting him to stop his bad habits for the entire year and a half of our marriage, and he didn’t wanna do it. Nice to know he wanted to be a better man… for someone else. FML
Today, I was so broke I went to Costco, not to buy anything, but to eat their free food samples. FML
Today, I asked my right-of-center best friend what exactly he hates about Critical Race Theory. His only coherent answer was, “It’s too critical!” This is my son’s godfather. FML
Today, I had to admit to myself that I’m not attracted to my boyfriend on any level. I agreed to go out with him because he's a nice guy, but the reality is we have absolutely nothing in common. Not to mention, we have the sexual chemistry of a vegan and a bacon cheeseburger. FML
Today, I was at the dentist's and she was hands deep in my mouth with a drill, when the power for the whole block shuts off. For 3 hours, the dentist had to keep shooting me up with shots to numb the horrible pain. FML
Today, a guy drove an hour and a half to get to where I live, only to literally last less than 30 seconds. FML
Aujourd'hui, l'homme dont je suis amoureuse m'invite enfin chez lui. Je l'ai vu changer la litière de son chat et préparer l'apéro, tout ça sans se laver les mains entre les deux. VDM
Aujourd'hui, lors de ma soirée d'anniversaire, je rencontre pour la première fois le nouveau copain d'une amie. Après m'avoir dit bonjour, il me dit : "Donc c'est toi qui a vomi à sa dernière soirée ! Elle m'a beaucoup parlé de toi !" Un "joyeux anniversaire" aurait suffit. VDM
Aujourd'hui, j'étais avec mon copain dans la maison de sa grand-mère, et nous étions super chauds de bon matin. On commence discrètement nos affaires, mais sa grand-mère est rentrée, sans frapper, un pot de miel à la main. Elle a soupiré, puis a posé le pot sur la table de chevet, en disant : "Je le pose là. Il a bon goût LUI." VDM
Aujourd'hui, infirmière à domicile en repos. Ma chef me réveille à 6h30 du matin un dimanche pour remplacer une collègue encore malade. J'arrive chez la première patiente a la bourre, et à peine réveillée. Son chien m'a vomi sur le pied. Je suis en ballerines. Bonne journée. VDM

Super, sauf qu'elle était ouverte et bien garnie par une TRÈS grosse commission. Là je ne suis pas chez moi et j'ai une traînée de crotte de 20 cm sur mon pantalon beige. VDM

Aujourd'hui, ça va faire une semaine que mon frère de 42 ans est en boucle sur son mur Facebook au sujet du mot "iel" dans le dictionnaire. Il ressort tous les "arguments" chouineurs des vieux réacs qui pleurent le "wokisme", etc. J'hésite à lui avouer que je suis non-binaire, mais j'ai peur qu'il fasse un AVC. VDM
Aujourd'hui, mon copain vient à la maison avec un nouveau pantalon très moulant. Je lui en fais la remarque, et il me répond que c'est comme ça qu'il les portera désormais, car il "aime avoir le vermicelle bien calé." VDM
Aujourd'hui, premier voyage en amoureux, nous visitons Porto-Vecchio. Petit resto au bord de l’eau, nous prenons la même chose. Quinze minutes après être sortis de table, il a fallu trouver d’urgence des toilettes. Pris d’une diarrhée foudroyante, nous avons dû y rester à proximité tout l’après-midi. VDM
Today, after my cheating wife moved out earlier this year, the kids are with her and her family for Thanksgiving. I didn't get a single invite from any of my local family members to Thanksgiving dinner. I had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. FML
Today, our dog is old and deaf, and has figured out she just needs to bark if she needs to be let inside. Unfortunately, she's also a bit senile, so sometimes she just barks for no reason, while lying still and quite comfortably on her dog bed, staring at nothing. FML
Today, after my credit card was stolen, the thief made donations to charitable associations. Now I feel bad for asking for the money back. FML
Today, I had to tell my boyfriend his dad was sending me inappropriate texts that made me feel uncomfortable. I tried to make him stop, but he kept going until I felt like I needed to tell my boyfriend. Who's now broken up with me because of it. FML
Today, while 9 months pregnant, I was sleeping soundly for once, cuddling with my cat, having a nice dream… until I woke up choking on acid reflux, peed the bed, peed on the carpet and all over myself trying to get to the bathroom. This is not the first time this has happened. At least I didn't puke this time. FML
