Today, I was having sex with my girlfriend when she starts laughing and says, "Wow, this is just too funny." FML
Today, my boyfriend insisted that we try phone sex. He started telling me all the things he wanted to do to me while breathing heavily. Unfortunately, it sounded so ridiculous, I burst out laughing. He hung up on me, and has refused to pick up since. FML
Today, my boyfriend suddenly stopped in the middle of sex, just as I was actually starting to enjoy myself, just to bear hug me and exclaim, "Crikey, she's angry!" in the voice of Steve Irwin. He laughed so hard at his own joke that he went soft and couldn't continue. FML
Today, I was going down on my boyfriend. I'm usually in control and do my own thing. He tried taking control and I ended throwing up on him. FML

He probably wouldn't laugh since it seems he has a submissive personality. It's really hard to take your partner seriously if they try to take on a role that's the polar opposite of their normal role. I know my boyfriend would laugh his ass off of I tried to be dominant :p

I think voting FYL or YDI depends entirely on what your relationship with your boyfriend is like and how well you know each other. Being dominated in any way is such a huge turn-off for me that being laughed at would be the least of my boyfriend's concerns if he tried that during sex.

Uggh, I've sorta been im his position before. Took ages to work up the confidence to do much again even though my bf is pretty understanding amd supportive. F his life. OP, make sure you try to be more supportive in the future (maybe try doggy style, then he won't see you laughing if you can't hold it in?) but also try not to make too big a deal of it.
