Today, my girlfriend came home with a huge bouquet of roses. They were from an admirer, brainwashing her to think I'm a terrible boyfriend for not buying her flowers like he did. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
So brave…
Today, I got a bouquet of beautiful flowers from someone I'd never heard of. My boyfriend flipped his shit and stormed out, calling me a cheater. I called the flower shop. Turns out he made a fake order, just so he could accuse me of cheating and dump me. FML
Today, I received a bunch of flowers from my 'lover'. This would be fine, except that I don't have a lover, and my boyfriend now thinks I'm cheating. FML
Sussy
Today, on a whim, I bought my wife some flowers on my way home. She put them in a vase then asked me what stupid thing I did that I’m pre-apologising for. She refuses to believe I bought her flowers for any other reason. Man, I must be a really shitty husband. FML
Today, I bought the girl I like a bouquet of roses saying "Anonymous" on it, and left it on her front porch. She saw it, and called the guy she thought it was from. He said, "You're welcome!" and now they're going out. FML
Gratitude
Today, I brought my girlfriend flowers. All she managed to do was to say, "It’s been a year since you brought me flowers." FML
Today, I bought my crush a bouquet of roses plus one fake. The line was going to be, "I'll stop loving you when the last rose dies." I told my best friend and he thought it was such an amazing idea that he stole the fake rose and gave it to her himself. Guess who got the girl. FML
Mixed signals
Today, my boyfriend surprised me with a bouquet of flowers he'd picked himself. This would’ve been romantic, had they not all been Poison Hemlock. FML
Today, I received a bouquet of flowers from my boyfriend, which is something he's never done before. Unfortunately, this was his way of apologizing for cheating on me. FML
Today, I had a fight with my boyfriend over a girl he is close to. He later arrived with flowers for what I thought was an apology. He was actually breaking up with me; the flowers were for her, he just didn't want to leave them in the car. FML
Never enough
Today, my girlfriend returned home from a several week vacation with family. Instead of a happy reunion, I was terribly emasculated, publicly, for bringing flowers that "weren't as pretty as all the other couples' in baggage claim." FML

Someone needs to step up in the romance department. Although, she probably bought them herself.

Question is: Is she believing it?

Apparently... I would have the balls to accept flowers from another man then rub them in my husbands face. I'd be pissed at the guy for disrespecting my relationship. I'm guessing she tells the guy who bought her flowers all of her problems.

Honestly, it sounds to me like you've grown comfortable in the relationship and might be taking her for granted, especially if the simple act of someone else buying her flowers is enough to make her think you're a terrible boyfriend. You should both show each other that you love and appreciate each other every day in the little things you do (hold the door open for her, fix your favorite meals, go for walks together, etc ...). If you do that, no one will be able to "brainwash" her into thinking you're a terrible boyfriend. She'll know without a doubt that you care.

Honestly, after a while in a relationship, a lot of people stop noticing the little things, or take them for granted. OP could be doing everything right, but the new and exciting of an "admirer" could be blinding her to his actions.

Speaking from experience, it's highly doubtful the OP is doing everything right if the simple act of someone buying his gf flowers is enough to turn her head and make her think he's a terrible boyfriend. Buying someone flowers is a very small, romantic gesture. If it's enough to make his gf sit up and take notice of someone else, it shows that the OP hasn't done even small, romantic gestures in a long time.

Impressed by secret admirer? Is your gf 12 years old or something

Have a talk with her about accepting romantic gifts from other guys. How would she feel if you came home with a gift from some girl at work who is always flirting with you?

You are a terrible bf for not buying her flowers :p but she probably got them and was super flattered while thinking, I wish my bf was who I got these from. Why doesn't my bf do things like this? It might be stupid but it's tradition it's what you do to show you care about someone and its not a hard thing to do sweet cheesy things for a girl, almost have to try not to. What's the thought process there. Oh I know girls love flowers and sweet things and I like this girl... Nah I don't like her THAT much and flowers are stupid. Idk seems like logic. It's like proposing, no sweet words, no bent knee, no ring, Just saying ya wanna get hitched? You gotta have all that sweet gooey tradition stuff otherwise ur kinda an ass.

I don't know. I don't like flowers, they die within days anyway, and they're ridiculously expensive. So I already told my bf I don't even want flowers. Doesn't mean I don't want a knee or something even slightly romantic though :p

Maybe you are a piece of shit boyfriend... You should be worried about this if your not

I'm shocked by all the people on here that use such possessive language like "she's yours" and "she belongs to you". She actually doesn't belong to anyone, and if she really thinks someone else would be a better boyfriend to her than you, she should dump you. No one is obliged to stay with someone who doesn't treat them right, just because they're already together. If you aren't a shitty boyfriend, then prove it.
