Today, I pretended to be on the phone to avoid small talk with someone from my building. I spoke loudly into the phone while walking by them. My phone rang in the middle of my fake conversation. FML

Today, I was so lonely I called my stalker ex-boyfriend. He was too busy to talk. FML
Today, after hanging up the phone, I realised that telemarketers are my only form of social life. FML
Today, I'm so lonely that I created multiple fake accounts on different social media platforms, just so I can have people to talk to. FML

And you found happiness and entertainment talking on the phone with someone who probably hates her job and found it a drag to talk to you? OP, you should go out to social places/gatherings/groups anything; if you really want people to talk to. Its not that hard.
