Today, I got bailed out of jail. I was there because I saw a girl being hit by her boyfriend. I rushed over to help only to have her hit me repeatedly. The cops came and she blamed her bruises on me. The boyfriend corroborated her story. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
No good deed…
Today, someone was getting beat up by 6 guys. When I tried to help, they had a swing at me as well. The cops came when I was enthusiastically defending myself. They got away, I got arrested. FML
Today, I saw a woman being mugged. I ran up to help and pushed the guy off of her. She then punched me in the face and called the cops because she was, "just living out a fantasy" and I'm, "a lunatic for trying to help." FML
Today, while I was out walking with my girlfriend, I got beaten up and called an "abuser" by a gang of women who noticed bruises on my girlfriend's arms and legs. The bruises are from her karate class. FML
Get out
Today, I caught my girlfriend cheating, so she smashed me in the head with her handbag so hard my eyeball is red from a burst blood vessel. I followed her home, where she tried to pretend she knew nothing, it wasn’t her I'd seen, she’d been home all day. I had to get the cops to drag her out my house. FML
Today, my girlfriend's ex punched me so hard in the face, I couldn't see straight. But I got up anyway. I lunged at him, and nailed him in the jaw. Turns out I'd in fact just knocked out my girlfriend the on-looker. FML
Today, a car hit me. I didn't get hurt, but someone called 911. The old woman who had hit me got out of the car with no problem to look at me, and gets back into the car. When the police arrive, she pulls out crutches and said I made strange faces and made her hit me. I got blamed. FML
Today, my boyfriend went to jail for a DUI. In a panic, I rushed to go bail him out. On the way to the jail I was stopped for running a red light. I soon joined my boyfriend in jail with my very own DUI charge. FML
Today, my girlfriend fell down the stairs and broke her ankle. She also had a bruise on her leg due to her friend biting her. I spent the night in the hospital to be there for her and support her, but I should have expected that the nurses would treat me like a criminal. FML
STRANGER DANGER!
Today, my girlfriend and I attempted to help a little girl who was alone and looked lost. All I managed to say was, "Hi my name is…" when she screamed and set off an actual rape alarm in her pocket. I was tackled by about 3 people, while my girlfriend did nothing to help me except laugh and start filming it. FML
He's a good man
Today, my now ex-boyfriend called me from jail, expecting me to bail him out. He'd tried to buy a load of booze at the liquor store and came up short by ten cents. The cashier refused to be short-changed, and he figured the only reasonable reaction was to punch her in the face. FML

Yo DV is a choice usually involving money. anyone being abused can buy a weapon and put a stop to it themselves. DONT interfere with an abused gold digger.

I have had a couple cops tell me that they hate domestic violence/abuse calls. the abused (usaully a woman) will turn on the cop. there are usually 2, 3 or 4 cops sent to domestic call to control the situation, even the abused needs controled. It is a cruel thing to say but call the cops and walk away while the abused is getting the shit beat out of her.

WOW! people who get abused in relationships and don't leave are dumb, in my opinion. In a relationship there is love of some sort. There is no love for each other but he must love beating on her. She must want to be a pinata because she loves to get beat on so lets just tie this stupid bitch up and let the whole world have a swing. OP good for you.

If theirs only one thing I've learned in life is. You NEVER get in between a woman and her abusive man. She's in that relationship because she chooses to. She'll be bailing him out and happily doing him on the kitchen counter while your in jail, hospital or dead. Not her friends, family, co-workers, neighbours or police can stop the abuse until she's made her own decision to move on.

Did you at least get their autographs? How did you not recognize Chris Brown and Rihanna?

People who blame women for staying in bad relationships only validate my belief that the human race is a complete waste of time and evolution. Clearly none of you/them understand AT ALL how psychology works. Newsflash: Abusive men don't start hitting their girlfriends on the first date. They brainwash them first. And almost everyone who says they'd leave if their partner ever hit them even once who then actually ends up in that situation, when it happened during a fight, when they've been conditioned to think that they're selfish and demanding, when their boyfriend is apologising and acting deeply sorry and showering them with love, will stay. Because everyone makes mistakes and women are conditioned to forgive and justify and not rock the boat.

"Accidentally" injuring or hurting a partner I'll admit is possible but comparing something along those lines to beating on someone, anyone smaller in stature or that isn't as strong is another thing. Your right the physical abuse doesn't start on the first date, it escalates. At some point when your constantly being talked down to, put down, sworn at and insulted doesn't send warning bells off. You are allowing it to happen, you deem it okay. Then it turns physical! If you can't pull yourself out of harms way or at least listen to those close to you... unless it's something woman go out looking for.
