Today, I was being driven to get my wisdom teeth removed and I was panicking all the way there. When we got to the office, I was told that I'd been brought in on the wrong day, and that I have to do this all over again tomorrow. FML

Today, I went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled. When I woke up I found out they pulled the wrong one. FML
Today, I had an appointment to pull some wisdom teeth. I wrote the wrong time in my calendar. Showed up an hour late and they didn't pull the one tooth that actually hurts. Now I've got the pay for the time I was late, plus wait until November to pull the rest. I waited 5 months for this appointment due to the coronavirus. FML
Today, my dentist pulled the wrong tooth. FML
Today, I went to the dentist for a tooth extraction. Not only were they not able to extract all of it, but after 7 injections, I was still screaming. The best part? Their referral to someone else fell through, so I head back tomorrow to finish the job. FML
Today, I went to the dentist after 24 hours of severe tooth pain. They did an emergency root canal. After the anesthesia wore off, within minutes, the pain returned only worse than before. Called the dentist, I had to return, only to find they had done the root canal on the wrong tooth. FML
Today, I got a root canal. It wouldn't have been that bad if the dentist hadn't performed it on the wrong tooth. FML
Today, I have reached the point in my life where you wait to see a dentist and get your wisdom teeth ripped out. I was warned about how miserably painful this is. However, no one seems to talk about how slow the time goes by. Tomorrow's the day, and so far today has been the longest day of my life. FML
Today, I went to the dentist and found out I still have a wisdom tooth. I got all four out last summer… or at least I thought I did. Now I have to go back and get it removed. Again. FML
Today, after two root canal procedures done on the same tooth in last two years, the tooth had been acting up for a few days, so I went in to get it checked. Turns out, it got infected AGAIN and I gotta get a THIRD root canal done on the same tooth. FML
Today, I had a dentist appointment and was running late. I frantically put on my shoes and rushed out of the house. When I arrived at the dentist’s office, they told me I was scheduled for a root canal, not a cleaning. I forgot to confirm the appointment. After I sat down in the chair, I tried to back out, but they were already numbing my gums. FML

F the parents lives. They are stuck with the kid forever and have to live with the embarrassment and guilt that they are clearly failing in some way at parenting.

I agree with Selena, it isn't really bad. I was nervous as **** about being put under (I got mine out a month ago), but they put me on anesthesia because I take meds so they first gave me stuff to get me all loopy so I wasn't aware what was going on, then put me under so I didn't realize it. then when I woke up the lamp looked like a freaking dog!!!

wisdom teeth can be a painless operation. I had them put me under and I woke up in my bed at home. the only pain I had was a sore jaw from it being open.

when I had my teeth cut out, they put something in my iv and I completely blanked. after that I was so ****** up on vic that I sat on a couch. 3 days in a row. really content. kinda wanna do it again

Wisdom teeth aren't that bad. I didn't have much pain and didn't take any of the painkillers, and mine weren't even fully developed.

Mine were terrible. I actually woke up earlier than expected and started to leave the building when a nurse came running to the front door and pushed me into a wheelchair. And I wasn't given painkillers. They gave me some form of steroids.
