Today, the girl I thought I was dating introduced me to her boyfriend. We've gone on dates and have slept in the same bed, but it turns out she thought I was her gay best friend and was planning to introduce me to her boyfriend's brother. FML
Today, I was talking to a guy I met online and have known for four years. I've fallen in love with him twice, one of those times being currently. He was supposed to visit this summer. I got an email from him saying he's really a 17 year-old girl from Chesterfield, MO. FML

I'm sorry that happened, maybe ask if a girl did that to him would he date her? If yes, he's not gay. If he doesn't respect you saying no, I'd agree with getting a new roommate if possible and just trying to distance yourself from him. Also tell people what he did in case he wants to spread rumors about you.

Being gay means you find the same sex sexually attractive. Being willing to date the opposite sex if you're gay doesn't mean you're straight now lol.

It usually means you're bi. Most gay people will not date someone of the opposite sex unless it's a fake dating thing or they are just testing to see if they really are gay. So yes if someone is gay and is willing to date the opposite sex it means they aren't gay.

Exactly what 48 said. I am attracted to any gender, which means I'm not straight, but I'm not gay either. Same with the roommate. If he can be sexually attracted to people not of the same gender, he's not really gay.
