Today, I went to go use an automatic cart in Walmart because I broke my hip in January. They were all being used by morbidly obese people throughout the store. I asked a manager if she could get me one, but apparently their weight issues are more impeding than my broken hip. FML

That's happened to me before. Right after I got out of the hospital from surgery I had to wait after some fat ass who needed a motorized cart. People like that seriously don't give a shit. They looked at me and saw that I was probably more able to walk because I didn't have 300lbs hanging over my body.

Why do fat people need motorized carts? Can't they just like, roll?

Stupid ***** should be shot most of you need to line up.

...and fat chicks wonder why i won't date them. you can go bitch to your fat-assed friends about that shit. it's not anyone's fault but your own that you look like you ate the hindenburg. last i checked, the vast majority of fat people *don't* have thyroid issues, but they do have self-control issues. i understand that not everyone is endowed with lightning-fast metabolisms, but it honestly isn't that hard to develop a modest eating pattern (and still enjoy some things you like). no one should turn into a quivering mass of ******* jelly. shit like this should never happen; the carts are made for injured people, not convenience. oh and -- this just in -- there are fat people outside of america! who would have thought that?! i, for one, am shocked. |the kid|

I have to agree with you there. My mother has problems with her thyroid and is on chronic medication for it. Guess what? She's a little overweight, but she's not a whale. This tells me that even people who DO have thyroid issues don't need to be THAT big. They hide behind their condition. I find what happened to the OP disgusting. And not because of the "fatties". Any kind of gross inconsideration like that makes me very angry. It reminds me of the time I was in an elevator (I had my daughter with me and so had a stroller). The elevator stopped at a mezzanine floor and 3 people shoved their way in, leaving an old man in a wheelchair, and his wife who was pushing him around, to wait for the next one. These people who rudely crammed into the elevator got off on the very next floor down. The stairs were right behind them! Not to mention the sign asking people to only use the elevator if they have trolleys etc. The total disregard for others is so digusting.

While I think most of what you said is pretty ******' funny and I can appreciate a good fat joke ( Lighten the hell up if you can't. Most of them are actually pretty clever.) I DO have a legitimate thyroid porblem. It's called hypothyroidism and I can say it's legitimate because every 3 months I have to have blood work done to see how the meds are responding in my body and for the past 2 years every 3 months my dosage goes up! I have been very thin before when I first started the meds but you build up a tolerance. I can also tell my shit is ****** up because I can feel the lump on the right side of my throat ( I'm a chick... there should be no bumps lol) What most people don't realize about hypothyroidism is that it not only effects your weight but it can effect almost everything on your body. I for one have very dry, thin hair and my skin is not nearly as moisturized as it should be. The synthroid I have to take seems to only make shit worse. I lose so much hair from my head just brushing it. Oh not to mention the fact that those with thyroid problems usually have low calcium levels show up on their blood work. Calcium supplements wouldn't be a problem IF you could take them... but you can't because calcium pills stop the synthroid from being absorbed into your blood! So it's all pretty ****** up if you have a jacked up thyroid. Have you ever even attempted to educate yourself about real thyroid problems? Take a minute to google the symptoms for yourself ... They include, being tired all of the time, being overweight, thin hair (sometimes even icky gross EXCESSIVE BODY hair), low calcium levels which means bones are more easily broken or damaged or they just plain ******* ACHE all day, dry skin, trouble concentrating AND a lot of people with hypothyroidism are sensitive to extreme temperatures. So even if we wanted to go work out it's pretty difficult because while it may only be like 75 degrees inside, to us it would feel like 100 degrees! And for someone that's already overweight and needs to sweat out a LOT more than you, it's pretty hard when some asshole "kid" is laughing at you because you're dripping sweat off your fat ass that you're trying to get rid of in the first place!!!!! it's pretty discouraging hearing that shit from someone who has never had to worry about weight a day in their damn lives.

TL;DR. Cut the novel down, chickie, if you want people to read it.

i don't wanna write a book here, but... #82, right on the money. your condition should not be your crutch; you should instead be finding a way to improve yourself so you can do things that your body should naturally be capable of. conditions like hypothyroidism are not, say, cancer; while it has debilitating effects, it doesn't prevent you from developing good eating habits and possibly going for a walk. after all, we do eat to live, right? not the other way around! #142 -- there's a few things wrong with your comment. 1) it's too long (which was already mentioned). 2) you don't address the main issue, which is about getting fat. fat doesn't just materialize; it's a product of your metabolic processes. if you eat all the wrong things (e.g., saturated and trans fats, excessive simple sugars, etc.), then they will go straight to your waistline without hesitation. so, in short, if you eat correctly, then you won't get fat in the first place. 3) chill -- i am clowning in the first place. i'm also not singling you out. you said, and i quote: "it's pretty discouraging hearing that shit from someone who has never had to worry about weight a day in their damn lives." you say that as if i never worked for anything i have. yes, i was never fat, but i wasn't born looking the way i do. it's all about knowing YOUR body, and adjusting accordingly. you also assumed that i know absolutely nothing about thyroid problems. i'm no doctor, but a little research goes a long way, ma'am. 4) you may want to try asking your doctor what natural remedies are available to help you deal with your issue (and i guarantee that there are -- i already mentioned one). but don't take my word for it -- ask the doctor! [by the way, as a disclaimer -- the "no fat chicks" thing -- there's a reason for that. for a person who is ridiculously out of shape to expect to get someone who is in excellent shape and for them to expect me to do the exact opposite is a bit of a double standard, no? i don't need a model -- just someone who cares about their appearance!] again, sorry for the novel. ****. |the kid|

Fat people are gold to Wal*Mart! Snack foods and sodas are among the highest-margin items any store sells, so fat people, with their steady diets of massive quantities of junk, make the store rich. You with your little medical problem aren't really needed at Wally World, so STFU and suffer and don't get between Wal*Mart and their best customers!

Simple fact is some do have thiroid bone and joint deteration from birth that don't allow exercise without breaking something. Instead of bitching rent ur own motorized cart.

ppl with joint or bone problems can actually do exercise in water or non impact exercise like exercise bikes or cross trainers. and if u have a genuine thyroid problem there is medication u can take to help with it. and most ppl dont have those problems neway

Yeah, I have a thyroid problem and have taken medication for it since I was 10. Ever since I've been skinny, so there really is medication for it and it does help, thank God!

wow! while I realize what happened to you sucked but the people on here saying fat people should die and shit that's so messed up. you cannot judge a person based on their weight! been there and trust me talking bout their weight won't make them lose the weight sometimes it makes it worse. so shut the hell up (: please and thanks

And look, you brought your wait down and look damn good. There's so many large people who have pretty faces and you can tell they'd look good if they lost the weight. It'd be nice if people had more motivation, and from the sound of your post, making fun isn't motivational. But. Food is a big market for money so motivation isn't going to come from the store D; Anyway. Most of the posts are stating that they don't like lazy people more so than them not liking fat people. You got up and did something about it, now it's their turns.

prob cuz fat ppl eat more so they'll like thibk they,'ll make more mobey with a fat person then yu.?

agree with #50 51. fat people might bitch about their stupid "joint problems" but that dosent mean you have to immediately start eating in one day as much as the average family does in a week. learn some self control or **** off. we all have to.

spiderowner 8

they have "joint promblems" because all their fat is making more weight on them hurting them more

They had them first. They might gave more serious co-morbid issues than you realize. Pull up a bench with an old fart and wait for one.
