Today, my siblings came home for the weekend. At dinner, my dad started complaining at how one of my siblings had gotten fired, one was failing college, and the other was gay. He went on to say I was 17 and already had a bright future. I'm pregnant. FML

Today, my parents are freaking at me because I just got my report and I failed my first year of college. They told me they have never been more disappointed in me. I have to tell them that I'm also pregnant. FML
Today, my parents posted on Facebook that they were excited that my sister was pregnant and couldn't wait to be grandparents. Last week I told them that I, a 33-year-old happily married woman, was pregnant and they told me I was ruining my life and encouraged me to have an abortion. FML
Today, over a family dinner, my husband and I told everyone that I'm pregnant. My father frowned and said, "Again?", my 9-year-old daughter started crying, and her brother smirked and yelled, "Up the ass, no babies!" FML

Today, my younger brother, who still lives in our parents' basement and has never held a job in his life, announced that his girlfriend is pregnant with their third child. I'm a college graduate living on my own and I've never even had sex. FML

You’re a lost case!” and slammed the door in my face. FML

your dad is just upset thinking that he failed his kids because they are not succeeding in life. every parents wishes each of their kids to succeed in life. but once you stop being upst, you'll know he still loves each of you. maybe your sibling got fired because of the econmoy, maybe they got fired because they're an idiot. who knows? and your other sibling being gay, it depends on how your parents have raised your family. my family are strong christians, and would feel disappointed if i or my brother decided to become gay. its understandable, and although im not a homophobe nor have anything against them as people, i still would understand my parents disappointment. and as for you being pregnant, well, you people who are saying kill the people and saying its not evil, you are absolutely ridiculous. i suppose you dont consider murder evil, but well, i guess thats what this world has come to. its your choice if you decide to kill the baby or keep it. but if you do keep it, good luck and stay strong and i admire you for taking on your responsibility (: and you people calling her dad a douchebag is very inappropriate. seriously, you have no right saying such things. if i got comments like that i would get pissed. be nice and positive people, stop being negative.
