Today, my mom bitched me out in front of my friends because I had my first kiss at "such a young age". She's 15 years older than me. FML
Today, I was in my bedroom with my boyfriend and we were kissing. My mom then came into my room and started shouting at my boyfriend for cheating on her. FML
Today, I found out that the reason my best friend is not allowed over anymore is because he hits on my mom and writes her love letters. FML
Today, I got banned from my boyfriend's house for being an "insurance liability." FML
Today, I walked in on my boyfriend and my best friend making out. She claimed he was just tasting her lipstick. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me. By making out with her new boyfriend in front of me. FML
Today, my mom won’t let me go to my boyfriend’s apartment. She says it’s because “I know what you guys are gonna do there I’m not stupid.” She threatened to kick me out of the house if I go. I’m 19. FML
Today, I finally had the guts to tell my mom about her boyfriend hitting on me. Not only did she not care, but she got mad at me. I'm 15. FML
Today, at the age of 17, I had my first kiss with the girl I've liked for over a year. However, it was a stage kiss and the girl has made it clear that she finds me repulsive. FML
Today, I was making out with this hot girl at a party. She was a bad kisser and I meant to say, "It's like you're 16 and don't know how to kiss" but it came out as, "It's like I'm kissing a 16 year-old." The room fell silent and she got off my lap with a disturbed look on her face. FML

Sweetie I know what it's like, my dad is Arab. Our situations are a little different because I had plenty of friends and a social life, but my dad was ridiculously overprotective. What I do understand is how much people do NOT get it when they're like, "just sit down and talk to them, tell them you're mature enough, tell them blah blah blah" and it's just like, no.......I'm in another universe from that. None of these commenters understand that it's likely she is banned not because you saw a kiss, but because they don't want you associating with her, someone who would do that. I was always very careful to make sure none of my friends did anything like that in front of my dad, and didn't wear short dresses or low tops when they came over. But why do you only have one friend? This post actually makes me sad, if you want someone to talk to I'll give you my facebook. As for the people commenting about showing affection, it's not necessarily about that. My parents were super affectionate to each other and us, but that's a whole different thing to teenagers with boyfriends and girlfriends!

Go meet your friends somewhere else and move out at the first opportunity. That level of oppression will probably do more damage to you in the end op.
