Today, my mom accused my cat of being a "manipulator", and said that we should get rid of him. FML
Today, I apologized to the cat for walking into the laundry room while he was using the litter box. FML
Today, my boyfriend got irrationally pissed at me because his cat decided to sit on my lap instead of his. FML
Today, my mentally-unhinged mother reached a new level of psycho - she threw a tantrum and raged at my father, accusing him of cheating on her with our cat. FML
Today, my mom called me an attention seeker and threw a bitch fit because my cat "decided" to die on her birthday. FML

You should show him your love as much as you can. I'm not saying the mom was right. She's nuts... but one day you may wish you loved him extra when you had the chance. My two year old kitty is in the hospital with end stage liver failure. I wish I had kissed her every time I saw her pretty face.
