Today, my husband was kind enough to hold my hair back while I was going down on him, but didn't have the thought to comfort me this morning while I suffered the effects of morning sickness. FML

Today, I had awful morning sickness, and I asked my husband if he'd get me a drink while I went to the bathroom. On the way back, I witnessed him spitting in the glass. FML

Today, suffering from severe morning sickness followed by cravings for salty food, I had stacked our fridge with yummy snacks. When finally emerging from our bathroom after retching this morning, I found out my husband had eaten all my snacks the night before. FML
Today, I'm pregnant and feeling awful due to all-day-long morning sickness. My doctor suggested that I cancel all my social plans to be able to keep working. My doctor is also my husband, and the father of this child. FML
Today, I was violently throwing up due to severe morning sickness. My boyfriend looked at me, then turned and walked away. In the end, my daughter gave me some paper towel and her juice. My 18-month-old is more supportive of my pregnancy than her 30-year-old father. FML
Today, I was having horrible morning sickness. I was violently throwing up, could hardly breathe, and was gasping for air between each round of puking. My husband, in the other room playing video games, snapped and shouted, "Why can't you just be quiet?!" FML
Today, I had horrible morning sickness, but being starving, I had some canned soup. My husband soon came into the room and commented on how the leeks in the soup looked like chunks of vomit. The visual caused me to vomit all over the table. FML

Intercourse actually clears some sickness for a while so if you would have done more than just go down on him, then you both would have been happy about it. That is pretty selfish of him though. FYL.

Right. Fast forward 13 months. Worse case scenario: This same selfish man will be the baby's daddy and will do nothing to assist you, or the baby. You are at your wits end because you have not slept or had a moment to yourself. He comes home and demands you make him dinner and wants to be left alone to watch the game "because it's been a long day" and wants you to go down on him. I pity you OP and it's not too late for the big A. You don't need anything but a libido to make a child and your guy demonstrates that point. It's your choice. If you want someone who has a bit more than simply a libido and can step up to the plate, take responsibility and help then let him know the situation, very clearly. Maybe he needs to grow up before he has the responsibility of a child. It's your gig. Best case scenario would be him taking his head out of his ass, but that's a bit of a gamble.

What's with all the guy-haters all jumping the bandwagon to say the guy would be a bad father and start to analyze him entirely when they know nothing about him, except that one time he didn't comfort OP while she was throwing up. The experiences of oneself in life are what make you sympathize and determine your reaction. Myself, and I believe most guys, wouldn't want or need someone to be there while they're throwing up. Even as a kid I didn't want my parents there, just wanted to be alone til I was done, so I wouldn't jump to hold anyone's hair while they're throwing up.

Gosh, the women on here expect their men to be SAINTS. Men are human, just like women. Why do you all automatically assume that the guy didn't help her vomit because he doesn't give a shit about her? Like other posters have said, I don't want anyone near me while I'm puking either, and I put my hair up before hand, if I have time, so no vomit gets in my hair. Maybe he was giving her some privacy. Maybe SHE should speak up about her feelings instead of posting it on FML. Women HAVE to communicate with their men. You can't expect someone to do what you want if you don't TELL them that you want it! People aren't psychic, and people make mistakes. If they don't know they've made a mistake, then they won't ever learn, and they will continue to make that same mistake. Now, if OP did communicate her feelings to her husband, and he still blew her off, then yeah, that is reason to be upset, but we shouldn't automatically assume the guy is a dick simply because his wife is talking shit about him on FML. The end.
