Today, my girlfriend of 3 years who had taken a job in a new city last month came into town and told me that she had slept with a co-worker last Friday. Last Friday I was incredibly lonely but I turned down a very attractive woman because I didn't want to hurt my girlfriend. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
The ultimate betrayal
Today, I learned of my girlfriend’s affair with her coworker. And by coworker, I mean my long-time friend, who we helped get a job at her work in the first place. FML
Here comes trouble
Today, I found out that my girlfriend's new friend is actually her "replacement". They met a few months ago, and she's really cool, we share the same interests, it's nice to spend time with her, etc., but my girlfriend planned to break up with me and "trained" her because she doesn't want me to be lonely. FML
Taking the Micheal
Today, my girlfriend of 5 years confessed to cheating on me during my recent business trip. Moreover, she doesn't want to cut off contact with the other guy, because she's afraid of hurting HIS feelings. FML
Unexpected
Today, I quit my job that my girlfriend and I worked together at. Fellow employees are not allowed to date one another and I said it would be ok if I was the one to leave. When I got home to her and told her that I quit, she decided to break up with me. I now have no job and no girlfriend. FML
Drama abounds
Today, my girlfriend of 3 years threatened to break up with me because when she came by my work, she saw me talking to another girl. The girl was a trainee. I'm the boss of the company, so it's my responsibility to train new people. FML
He tried.
Today, I rejected a girl I work with because I have a girlfriend. That girl then posted on Facebook that she'd friendzoned me for being creepy. My girlfriend saw the post, believed it, and dumped me. FML
Today, I was fired from a managerial position I've held for two years due to "inappropriate relations with a subordinate": I was dating a coworker. My girlfriend then broke up with me four hours later. Because I no longer had a job. I hired her. FML
Today, the coworker I have a crush on left halfway through the busiest shift of the week, and now I have to work it alone. I eventually found out that she left to go on a date with her new boyfriend. FML
Rivalry
Today, my girlfriend got fired from her job for arguing with her female coworker. I found out from a mutual friend that the reason they were arguing was because they were fighting over "a hot male coworker" who hooked up with the female coworker. I think I need to leave her. FML
Today, I introduced my girlfriend to a female friend of mine, because I thought they would get along. Apparently they get along better than I expected; she dumped me for the other girl. FML

Those are probably the reasons why he didn't want to hurt her...

You are just as much in the wrong as her. Just because you turned sex down doesn't make you great. You still wanted to do it. You & your girlfriend obviously have no respect or love for each other, break up.

#67 Maybe I am just some very dumb ******* guy, but I always thought there was a difference between wanting and doing. As far as I read, he turned her down, because he had respect (the thing you accused OP of lacking) by NOT doing what many, many men do. So apparently, according to your twisted, and strange logic, wanting to do something, immediately makes you bad, meaning that if I wanted to hit someone because they insulted, or injured me, but didn't, regardless I am a bad person. Well... Looks like a lot of people with desires, but the strength to resist an impulse, will still burn in Hell, simply because they had a desire.

I'm sorry to hear that. Good guys never catch a break, and when we decide to do something considrered 'wrong' we get ****** 1000x as hard as any other person. Life's not fair... FYL, I feel with you.

I'm a guy in a committed relationship (long distance, for the time being) and am completely faithful. Even so, men are biologically wired to have multiple sex partners. Even being in a relationship with someone they love very much and are attracted to, they are still attracted to others. I realize that I'm going to be attracted to other women my entire life, and it's not my fault. What WOULD be my fault is if I acted upon said attractions and hurt others as a result. Real men resist temptations and opportunities and conquer their biological inclinations. Way to go, OP.

A small addition: Not only men are wired to be attracted to more people. We *all* are. Yet, in the case of both genders, it's a matter of will, self-respect, and respect for your partner.
