Today, after months of being pestered to do so, I finally read the first Harry Potter book. I hated it. Upon hearing this, my girlfriend posted the fact on Facebook, where I immediately received tons of abuse and eventual shunning by my friends, family, and coworkers. My girlfriend just laughed. FML

Today, I had to endure my girlfriend crying and screaming at me. The reason? I'm not able to please her like the fictional character Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey. When she left me, she took all her stuff and left me with copies of the three books. FML

If you think about it, this really isn't an FML. His girlfriend could've been really into HP and because he wasn't into it she felt like they had nothing in common. Personally, I would never date someone that doesn't play video games. Seriously we'd have nothing to talk about.

I've read part of some of the HP books, so I have the right to say that I DO know better literature. Hatchet, The Hunger Games, Holes, Jurassic Park, Everlost, World War Z...I've read all of them and enjoyed them more than HP.
