Today, my husband decided it was time to tell me he had a 3 year old son. We have been married for 5 years. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend of 4 years that I'm pregnant. He suggested we get a paternity test done. FML
Today, my fiancé told me his ex-wife was 5 weeks pregnant. I was happy for her, and glad she had finally moved on. Until I found out who the father was. They're moving back in together, for the baby's sake. FML
Today, my fiancé invited his pregnant co-worker for dinner. After we finished eating, he sat down and explained to me that her kid is his and that he's been cheating on me with her for 5 months. She had a smile on her face during the entire thing. FML
Today, I'm a little over a month pregnant. My fiancé has decided that if we both act like I'm not pregnant, "the baby will get the hint and go away". FML
Today, after telling me his other girlfriend is pregnant, my boyfriend said we should stay together so I could help out with the baby. FML
Today, I found out that my girlfriend is four months pregnant. She can't wait for us to be parents. I guess she forgot that I haven't seen her in 7 months. FML

That's messed up that some people think you deserved it. Married people can still leave their wives/husbands or cheat - it's not some magic piece of paper or ceremony that binds you for life. If these people had already been married this STILL could have happened. Really awful you guys for saying such mean things to her when she's just been ditched with a baby.

Did you only get engaged because you were pregnant? If that is the case, I'm not surprised by his behavior. Not to say that it is acceptable, but it is not unexpected. That being said, being vindictive against him for 18 years or however long will be detrimental to your child. :/ And ADOPTION is still an option!

You know, she might not have MEANT to get pregnant out of wedlock. Shit happens. And the same people who think you shouldn't, but don't so much mind the sex part, are the the same people who don't believe in abortions, sooo. What the hell are people supposed to do? It's rare but, even correctly used birth control, CAN fail. No one said she's ditched with the kid. Just because he doesn't want to be with her, doesn't mean we won't be involved with his kid, dumbasses. While he should have decided sooner, but maybe he was happy before, and things have gone downhill. At least he decided to get out of a relationship he didn't want to be in. He did nothing wrong, if he is still going to take care of his child. It's better than ending up with a loveless marriage, where you, he, or both of you end up resenting your child for 'forcing' you together when you guys aren't happy. I don't think any of it has anything to do with the kid. If he's not happy with you, he shouldn't be with you. So long as he will be involved with his child, then you should respect him for being mature enough to make the right decisions for everyone involved.
