Today, my chunky boyfriend told me that he'd be less attracted to me if I gained weight. I have low self-esteem. FML
Today, my boyfriend out of the blue told me I wasn't fat, that my stomach was flat and it was only my butt that was big. I thought that this was a compliment. His response? "Not at all". FML
Today, I proudly informed my boyfriend that I am now a size 4, down from an 18, after months of dieting and exercising after he told me he would like me to be a size 6. He broke up with me for "not listening to what he wanted" and "being an overachiever". FML
Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, my boyfriend of seven years dumped me because he said my cheeks getting way too fat for his taste and he didn't want to be with a chipmunk. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I didn't want to go out with him because I was having a fat day. After ten minutes of fighting, he threw a ring box on the floor and stormed out. I basically refused his proposal because of my body issues. FML
Today, I've been dieting and working out trying to work towards some solid abs because I know my girlfriend digs that stuff. I've been miserable trying to achieve this goal, plus to make things even better while kissing today she grabbed my stomach and said "I just love your abs of... flab." FML
Today, my fiancé and I had a fight because he wouldn't let me get what I wanted to eat, even though it was my money. He said, "It's way too many calories. I'm supposed to help you lose weight." When I pointed out that I had given up a month ago, he looked at me and said, "Yeah, I can tell." FML
Today, my boyfriend bought me a pair of jeans. I couldn't fit into them, and he reacted to this by saying I've gotten too fat for him, and he can't be with me anymore. I took them off and saw they were a size 4. I've been a size 8 for the past 2 years, and he knows this. FML
Today, my boyfriend grabbed my love handles. It tickled, so I giggled and squirmed out of his grip. He looked at me quizzically and said, "I'm surprised you still have feeling there with all that fat." FML

Although he is a dick for saying it like that he could just be trying to express his eventual lack of sexual interest in you if you don't lose weight. If you have similar expectations you should make them known. Nothing wrong with expecting things from your partner. It is true you accept the person for their flaws but that doesn't give your carte Blanche to ignore them and not improve yourself. You should want to be better for yourself because you want to be the best for your partner. If your boyfriend doesn't make you feel that way then you should find someone who does. That would be the correct reason to "dump" him. Sometimes the truth is hurts but if you can't hear it from the person you love who can you hear it from.

How do you know that changing her body would be "improving" it? Expressing your concern over someone's weigh is incredibly delicate and this guy didn't handle it well at all. And for all we know her thick thighs can be because of muscle or because she has that whole thick thighs, big butt thing going on.

Yass!!! For real I've been picked on most my life for how I look(I'm somewhere in between fit and not) but I decided one day to say screw all of you I like me and I only want to change if its for the better. In the end not only am I ok with me,but I found someone who loves me for me. You go #86 btw
