Today, my bitch of a sister broke my new phone, which took me months of work to earn. Her excuse? If I didn't want her to break it, I shouldn't have let her use it. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
The blame game
Today, my brother got mad at me for breaking the screen on his phone. He'd already dropped it so many times that the whole screen was cracked to the point that you couldn't see anything on it, but for some reason, I am fully responsible for its destruction because I accidentally delivered the finishing blow. FML
Today, my little sister decided it would be funny to bend my iPhone 6 like there's no tomorrow. FML
Today, my sister smashed a cup on my head because I told her she couldn't borrow one of my necklaces since she lost one and stole another. I was grounded for "antagonizing" her into doing it. FML
Drunken mess
Today, my drunk sister came in my room at 2 in the morning, sat on the side of my bed, fell off, knocked over my glass of water, which ruined my new phone, then got angry at me for getting angry with her. She then slammed my door, which made all the photo frames smash to the ground. FML
Today, my younger brother decided it would be fun to slam a door on my hand while I was holding my brand new $200 cell phone that I got for my birthday. Nothing says Happy Birthday like a broken phone to go along with a broken hand. FML
Quite right
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because I refused to give her my phone's passcode. FML
Property is theft
Today, my sister stole my bike and gave it to her boyfriend. When I told my parents, they said it was fine, because I wasn't using it anyway. The reason I wasn't using it was because it needed a new tire, and I was saving up for one. FML
Today, my little sister was using my phone to play games. About an hour later, she came to me and said my phone wouldn't work. Turns out my phone had gotten hot and she put it in water to cool it down. FML
Today, my sister convinced my girlfriend that I cheated on her. All because I took the first slice of her birthday cake. FML
Doin' it for the 'gram
Today, my sister refuses to talk to me because I didn't post her a "Happy birthday" in an Instagram story. It seems that the iPhone 12 I gave her as a present is just not enough. She's 19. FML

That's not really an excuse... If she's really sorry she'd offer to pay for it, I feel. That sucks and I hope she does. Don't let her touch anything else, lol.
Saxicolous 27
Sounds to me like she isn't sorry at all
Garrett2818 21
Well that's a good excuse to not let her use your stuff anymore.

I have a feeling she would still break it. Something along the lines of "if you would have let me used it, maybe I wouldn't have broken it."

My sister has pulled that line on me. You really can't win, especially when your 'father' backs up everything she does. Good luck OP.
LyricaSilvan 30
Exactly. She'll probably just take it anyway.

Oh crap yes. If I had a dollar for every time my father backed up my little sister I would have already moved out.

Break her shit. Problem won't be solved but you'll probably feel better about it.
JustinJK 21
Better yet take hers and make it yours OP. if she didn't want her phone taken then maybe shouldn't leave it lying around.
slavka012 11
No. Then everybody just end up with a pile of broken shit. Because the sis will in turn b break something else. Better solution is to take her to court
nakros 17
Well assuming they're living with their parents then if he did that his parents would most likely side with her and not him

Honestly, this sounds like a pretty decent form of retaliation... An eye for an eye is fair... Besides, she's gonna have to learn to respect other people's property eventually

Please tell me shes like 11

Or over 70, because the thought of senior citizen siblings fighting like that seems funny to me.
SunDown2015 26
Sorry OP. It sounds like your sister needs to learn to respect the belongings of others. It's a pretty simple concept too: if it isn't yours, don't break it. Better luck with your next phone.

You kicked her high up the ass, right?

looks like someone needs to pay for a new phone or get beat in the face
Luke16eirb7deneuwn1 20
why not both?
beeferjay 34
well, she's right... put some ads up with her phone number, show her who she's dealing with
