Today, my sister smashed a cup on my head because I told her she couldn't borrow one of my necklaces since she lost one and stole another. I was grounded for "antagonizing" her into doing it. FML

Today, my 8 year-old little sister said, "F*** you" to my mom. My mom thought I told her to say that and grounded me for a month. Later, my sister came up to me and said, "Gotcha, bitch." FML
Today, my parents grounded me because I refused to do my little sister's homework for her. FML
Today, my mom took my cell to work with her. When she got home later, she scolded me for not answering her calls. When I pointed out that she'd taken it, she grounded me for "talking back". FML
Today, my little sister chased me around the house with a mallet, giggling like a maniac. I ended up having to pin her to the ground, rip the mallet out of her hand and lock her in the bathroom. This isn't the first time. My mom still insists it's perfectly normal. FML
Today, my sister just had a huge fight with my mom. After that, she thought it was appropriate to smash my $1,000 guitar to "blow off some steam." FML
Today, my sister and I had a fight. In her rage, she threw piles of dirty laundry at me. One of her bloody panties hit me on the face. FML
Today, my bratty sister shoved me overboard during a boat ride. Not ten seconds after being pulled back on board, I got an earful of abuse from my parents. My sister is the family favorite and they refuse to believe that I didn't "provoke" her. FML
Today, my sister and I got into an argument at a tennis court which ended up with her trying to run me over in the parking lot. I stepped to the side and hit her door, denting it. My parents expect me to pay for the damage caused by my sister trying to kill me. FML
Today, my little sister asked what the noises were last night. It happened to be my dad and his girlfriend fooling around. I ended up telling her it was ghosts. Now I'm grounded by my dad who yelled at me for scaring her. I was trying to save his ass from a lot of questions. FML
Today, my sister was taking forever in the bathroom, and I jokingly threatened to kick down the door. I rammed into it, and it actually bust almost off its hinges. My sister screamed and our parents came running. Now I'm grounded forever and our bathroom has no door. FML

I'd say keep a running tally of crap like this so that when your parents finally come to their senses, you can keep them that way by reminding them just how long it's been going on. As it is? I'd say never let her have anything, ever again. If she pulls this stuff again...and it's not a one-off thing but consistent...seriously consider involving the cops. It sounds like something that could easily have landed you in the hospital. If it ever does...press charges. Your parents won't protect you, so go for it. Maybe THAT will be their wake up call.

Your parents seriously suck at parenting. Get some witness, better official one, like ER, police, CPS, school teacher, school nurse, that you were hit (bruise). Repeat it every time this happens. Keep paperwork in a place they can't steel it like the necklaces. You may need it very badly.

I feel you. When my sister and I lived together for a short while she broke a hole in my bedroom door cause I asked her to do a load of dishes. We had a dish washer and it was the same load that I had asked her 3 times to do on 3 different days AND the load consisted of 90% of HER dishes. When it came for her to pay for the door she was mad cause I wasnt paying for half cause I also "antagonized" her. My parents agreed. A fight issued where she broke yet ANOTHER hole in the door. I kicked her out a month later after I forced her to pay for the door.
