Today, my 14-year-old daughter came home after sneaking out and partying. She was totally drunk, and started crying on my shoulder because some boy named "Thomas" has a small dick, and she had to fake an orgasm. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I picked my 12-year-old daughter up from school after her first sexual education lecture. She burst into tears on the way home explaining her fears of being pregnant with her boyfriend's child. As if that doesn't sound bad enough, I've met her boyfriend before. He is imaginary. FML
Today, I was a bit upset to learn that my 13 year-old daughter had a boyfriend. When she noticed, she assured me that I shouldn't worry, because "it's just for sex anyway". FML
Proud Papa moment
Today, my daughter turned up at my house because her boyfriend kicked her out. I rang him and it turns out his love and affection and even the time he spent getting to know her kids wasn’t enough for her, my daughter just had to throw it all away by sucking her coworker's dick in her boyfriend's bed. FML
Stop
Today, I was having sex with my wife when my 14 year-old daughter texted me from her room, "Stop." FML
Future Darwin Award
Today, I came home to find my 14-year-old son attempting to get drunk off aftershave. FML
Today, I caught my 20 year old daughter having sex with my best friend's husband. Apparently it's my fault for coming home early. FML
Today, my mom came home drunk and crying, so I tried to comfort her and asked what was wrong. She wasted no time admitting that she'd hooked up with her ex-husband, AKA my dad, but that it'd sucked for her because he has a tiny penis. Thanks, I really needed to know that. FML
Gone girl
Today, after I grounded my barely 18 year-old daughter for having sex with her boyfriend when I found a pack of condoms in her room while cleaning it, she responded by moving out and eloping with him. FML
Today, my daughter came up to me crying. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me that she had a fight with her imaginary boyfriend. She's 16. I raised this child. FML
Teenagers these days
Today, I caught my 14-year-old daughter stealing alcohol from me. After berating her for half-an-hour I finally said, "At least you're not doing drugs." She gave me a guilty smile and sheepishly said, "At least I'm not a prostitute?" FML

I hate to say, but you have no one to blame but yourself. You should have taught her self respect... Looks like she's learning from Jersey Shore and Teen Mom instead of you.

Just because a parent teaches a lesson doesn't mean a kid will listen. Bad choices and testing boundaries is part of growing up. While this is an extreme case, it does not automatically mean poor parenting. Letting her get away with it would mean that though. Glad I'm not the one who has to come up with the consequences for that one.
gc327072 31
Precisely. It comes down to parenting. OP, YDI for letting your daughter become a complete slutmuffin.
cash_raj 5
I agree with challan.. NO WAY would a normal child break their parents trust this way unless the parents had SOME hand in ******* them up so bad!
lilpanda4 5
Children don't listen to parents. what op needs to do is whip her ass to next week! Children today listen to music and what society tells them is ok not parents so don't blame her. I blame lack of punishment these days

That child is 14. That's when Dr. Puberty strikes, with his devilish duo of dastardly henchmen, Señor Hormone Imbalances and Esquire Bitchalot

The lack of punishment would be the parents fault -.-
SweetasCandy0609 28
A normal child? What exactly is a normal child?
plaguer 26
I agree with 17. Kids change at around age 13, it happens regardless of parenting really. Bring back spankings.
brand2017 9
25, are you ******* kidding me? The hell is normal? And im sorry but ive betrayed my parents trust many times. The times they found out, i was heavily disciplined and didnt do the deed again. Just because a child disobeys their parent doesnt mean the parents ****** up. It means the child did. And they have nobody to blame but themselves. And also- **** being normal. Normal is boring.
Codezlol 21
A kid can have the worst role model parents and look beyond that and be a normal kid, no drinking, smoking, partying drunken sex that 14 year olds should not be doing. On the other hand, a kid can have the best role model parents who try to do everything they can by fulfilling their duties to be a great parent. Only to be slapped in the face by awful, rule breaking little **** wads. Just sayin'

Make her get a job babysitting the most treacherous children you know. She'll be swatting the guys away.
GhostChickens 17
To be fair, you can't blame the parents for everything. My parents were fairly strict but, when I turned sixteen I got the whole "if you're going to have sex, use a condom and do it somewhere safe with someone you trust" and "if you're going to drink, make sure you have a large group of friends and keep an eye on your drink". Compared to some parents, they were pretty liberal but, even now, I'm still not a big drinker and I'm definitely not promiscuous. They thought I was doing a lot more than I actually was. (My friends and I usually just hang out in the market and buy cheap food and hot chocolate and chat.) I had a friend who's parents were strict and taught her what they thought was good and what they thought was bad. She ended up with two kids by different fathers by the time she hit fifteen.

79, the lack of suitable (i.e. physical) punishment would be society and a ****** up legal systems fault with kids suing parents or having them charged with "assault" just for spanking them.
sens3sfailing 25
I have never heard of parents getting charged with assault for spanking their children reasonably. And unless they did it so hard it really hurt the kid, the case would be thrown out anyway. Some parents spank their children so hard the kid can't sit for days. Those are the criminals dumbass
ConradKay 13
I would agree with you here - I don't think very light spanking would be considered assault. However, there have been scientific studies which prove that corporal punishment of any sort actually makes kids behave worse, so I tend to be against it.
retaphin 5
It's ridiculous to blame a parent you havn't met for something like this. Peer pressure and innopropriate access to alcohol are also large contributing factors. Dont blame those you dont know. Have a nice day

Great job parenting! No way in Hell would I have been brave enough to speak that way in front of my parents or let alone be 14 yrs old and come home intoxicated.Everyone wants to say "kids these days"--How about "parents these days"!!! There is a reason why your daughter has no fear or respect for you.
then000bster 16
She was "totally drunk". Hhhmmmm I totally wouldn't speak the truth when I'm drunk at all. She needed to complain to somebody and the person she ran into was her mom.
pheebs314 17
I dunno about you, but I definitely didn't go home drunk at 14. Of course, I didn't drink when I was 14 either because I knew not to. Even now I don't hang out with my mom drunk but I could openly tell her about my problems. That's good parenting.
WrongRomance 11
If I ever (EVER) chose to drink, or even get drunk, I would not come home. I would have a better chance outside until I was sober.
sp00ky_fml 5
Amen! Finally someone who sees it both sides. If your daughter is speaking to you that way you did something wrong. Have a little respect for your parents.
spikekutter 9
i wish i was drunk.. i messed up on that comment bad.. i meant to say your daughters a *****..
cr3ativity 15
Merry Christmas, you filthy animal (at OP's daughter.) ;) But seriously, it's either a case of seriously bad parenting, or total breaking of trust by the child. I think I'll go with breaking of trust scenario because I think at age 14, that's when teens get bitchy, emotional, melodramatic, petty, hormonal- imbalanced, etc.
cr3ativity 15
I didn't read the FML properly. I disregarded the "sneaking out and partying" It's definitely a breaking of parent's trust by child. I accept all down votes.
noelykins1 19
BI was 14 not too long ago and I can honestly say I knew not to have sex, get wasted, and sneak out and party. I never did any of that because I knew that if I did I would have to come home, think of a lie, and in the end get in trouble. So to be honest I more or less blame it on the parenting. Teenagers only act out if they know they won't get punished, and if they "don't give a shit" meaning that their parents won't do anything about it. Op should ship her daughter off to boot camp or something and maybe Op herself should give the teenager a proper outlook on life and some kind of extracurricular activity. For me I used the TV and computer as my activity, oh and my phone of course, and I never misbehaved in that manner. So I blame parenting.
brand2017 9
97 i disagree. I did things that i knew were wrong and i did give a shit if i got caught. But- when u do something like that it raises your adrenaline. Trying not to get caught can be fun. Now granted im not a 14 year old drinking and *******, but i still wouldnt blame this one on the parents.
Charleybelle 14
I'd say it's a case of bad parenting. Yeah when you're a young teenager you go crazy hormonal and try to act grown up but I would have never even thought about sneaking out let alone having sex because I was scared shitless of getting punished by my parents. Obviously she has no fear of her parents or of getting disciplined. = lack of good parenting
Carmstro 13
What we know from sure is the kid has no respect for her parents, or at least didn't at that time, because she snuck out. Yes, 14 is a delicate age, but 14 is also well old enough for her actions to be independent ones. The parents can be great, but not all kids end up exactly as the parents intended. You can raise two kids the exact same an they'll end up different. But some communication obviously needs to happen.
jizzwold 21
It isn't necessarily the parents fault. I know people who have extremely strict parents who punish their kids pretty harshly but the kids will still go out and get drunk or smoke or whatever. They are just careful not to get caught. Sometimes it doesn't matter what the parents do. If the kids want to do something they'll find a way to make it work.
guckylynn 19
Holy crap. I don't think I completely understood how sex worked, much less anything about faking orgasms when I was 14. Good luck with your child OP!

Sucks to be you but #17 is right, you can try and teach them life lessons and show them the mistakes of others but they will still go make them for themselves. Sounds as though your daughter needs to learn some self respect, oh and some respect for you! Happy holidays!
MikeFoxtrot01594 11
Since when is having sex disrespectful to oneself?
rachelita2107 5
Having sex at 14 with multiple people is having no self respect for yourself. I can count on one hand how many people i had sex with. And im 23. That little girl probably lost track of how many boys she ****** a long time ago the way this story sounds. In highschool i was ashamed of myself for the few boys i did sleep with, i then stopped. They need to learn morals and self respect. Having sex like that will just lead to you getting pregnant by somebody who you dont want to be the father of your child, or she can probably end up with a nasty STD. Hope that makes since to somebody.
rachelita2107 5
Oh and i didnt even start having sex till i was almost 16. Not saying i was perfect i wasnt. I made mistakes. I also knew right from wrong and had respect for myself. I learned from my mistakes and changed. Teenagers these days arnt learning from their mistakes.. Probably cause nobody is teaching them
paulpings 6
When the people involved are so young and not mature enough to deal with what they are doing, the implications of such things and the possible fall out it is a problem and mostly it is down to lack of self respect and confidence in fact, the peer pressure and want to be seen as "popular" this seems to some a good fix " oh, Im so popular with the guys" yes honey you are!, they are all horn dog teens and just want to get laid and you are a sure bet! its such a shame and so often is regretted later in life.
