Today, I was awakened by my father saying how proud he was of his little boy. I assumed he meant me, since I landed an apprenticeship in the same union he's worked in for 25 years. Turns out he was speaking about his cat, who left a dead squirrel next to my bed. I stepped on the damn thing. FML

Such behaviour is acceptable when it comes to cats. Your father is just trying to stay on it's good side so you can do all the menial task when cats take over as teh furry overlords. He will have the honour of making cheezburgers. You will clean the litter box for your heresy.

There needs to be a "so what?" button. Nothing "bad" happened, so your life is not effed and you didn't "deserve it" because nothing happened to you.
