guy tip #1 - never make a girl feel second best or tell her you like someone else if you actually want her if she thinks you're into someone else, she's not gonna want you atall and will probably just try and be glad for you also, if she feels less than number one or a second option she'll always feel like that, ever so slightly unwanted you're a twat

All these guy tips are WRONG! A girl doesn't want to directly KNOW that you are interested in another girl, but letting her THINK you are interested in another girl is a completely different scenario. Humans want what we can't have by nature. I'm not that good looking of a guy maybe a 6 or a 7 if generous (and that coming from my gf) but the thing is that if you give the allusion that you have a girl and show the confidence level of having a partner, the aura you will give off attracts people to you. This especially works well if they already know what you were like before hand and you start suddenly exuding this feeling about yourself. The boost is noticeable. If you want to play mind games with a girl, the trick is to not say anything definite unless you are planning to go all or nothing for the final step in securing the relationship.

You deserve it. I'm surprised there's not more "YDI" on this FML. You trying to make her jealous would not do anything on your behalf. You would drive her away because she won't think you're available. And if she thinks you're gay then you're pretty bad at getting girls.
