Today, I realized that our generation will be remembered as the kids who liked sparkly vampires. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, Twilight once again won all the awards at MTV, beating out Inception, Toy Story 3, Harry Potter, etc. This is MY generation. FML
Today, I woke up and looked in the mirror and noticed that my face was covered in glitter. I asked my wife about it and she said she put it on me while I was sleeping so that I would sparkle like Edward from Twilight when I'm in the sunlight. FML
Today, after waiting for years for my oldest daughter to grow out of Twilight, my younger daughter discovered it. FML
Artistic licence
Today, after spending at least 4 hours drawing a realistic shadow of a vampire for a picture contest, I finally remembered that vampires aren't supposed to produce shadows. FML
Today, I was made aware that my teenage son used "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter" as a reference point in a class debate as if it was a biopic. Oh dear. FML
Stuck in the past
Today, I found out my boyfriend still writes Twilight fan fiction. FML
Today, my lips were dry and chapped, so I asked if I could use some of my friend's chapstick. She didn't mind, so I quickly put some on. Only later did I notice that my lips were sparkly. Turns out it was glitter balm. Now everyone calls me "princess." FML
Today, I was really badly sunburnt, so I put on some after-sun. The only type we have has glitter in it, and now I look like a sparkling tomato. FML
Dark times
Today, it was good fun getting a nice vampire make-up at my drama lesson. It would've been better if I hadn't forgotten my Demak'up. Even better if I could've avoided the crazy glances in the bus home. FML
Today, my daughter turned Emo. FML

Best FML EVER! Twilight is the weirdest shit ever. I will never find a scrawny, pale guy who sparkles more than me attractive.

How did this even get published? So you don't like the book. Get over it! I'm not defending the crazy fangirls, but the people hating on it are just as annoying. Mind your own damn business.

also if our generation will be remembered for anything it will be copying the clothing of England in the late 60's and 70's, also for technology there have been so many changes with so many things so fast. when cells phones became main stream in 2000/ 2002 ish, to today's cell phones its just wtf, that moved so fast. also the fact our generation has a hard time talking to one another or reading or writing, due to the advancements of messengers and phones ruining our way of communicating, I know a lot of kids that can't confront some one but can easily text the same thing to that person, they have no people skills or anything. I think our generation will be known for that. my little bro sits on the computer all day messaging and texting and when you go to talk to him he can't make a sentence, its hard to get anything coherent out of him. I used to work with kid and a lot of them were all like that.

i LIKED the books, but i didn't LOVE the books as they just weren't written as thougha writer had wrote them. To be fair, she wrote well for a housewife or whatever she was, but really great writers aren't getting the amount of recognition or success they should be getting because 12 year olds see an average looking bloke on a film screen and apparently love him. Now Meyer is claimed as the literary genius of our time. Give me a Dickens anyday of the week.

The twilight saga books were amazing i read them wayy before the whole twilight movie thing. Why cant they leave the good books alone, and quit making them into movies. They are fine the way they are, they dont need to be movie-fied.I like reading vampire books, vampires should not sparkle! they should burn in the sun like they were originally portrayed. Its like the jonas brothers all over again, screaming girls at every corner.Uck.Edward is fictional girls, you will never find a guy that is exactly like him in anyway.Except for being nice and protective, thats it.Dont go telling your boyfriends that they should be more like edward.its not possible. And stop saying "oh edwards mine" he will never be yours, hes in love with bella and if you would have read they book they get married and she becomes his eternal mate to put it lightly. And like it was stated before he cant be yours anyway he's fictional! i think im rambling. But i think it sucks that our generation will be known as the one who loves sparkly vampires.Cant we like solve world hunger or something?
