Today, I found my mother wandering the halls of my fraternity unescorted and asked why she was here, she told me she was concerned when I didn't pick up my phone for two days. She then informed me that she had also moved to the same city I live in. My mother moved over 600 miles to stalk me. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out my stalker is my mom's new boyfriend. FML
Today, my mother knocked on the door of my room at 7am. I am currently over 300 miles from home, on a vacation to get away from my overbearing family. I told none of them where I was going. FML
Freakout
Today, my mother panicked and was about to report me missing when I didn't answer her calls while I was at a movie. I'm 31, and have lived on my own for over 10 years. FML
Today, my paranoid wreck of a girlfriend read a text message on my phone from a woman asking if I was coming over for dinner. The woman was my mom. My girlfriend stormed out and hasn't answered my calls all day. FML
Home to roost
Today, I found out that my mother has been telling several people that my fiancé and I will be moving into her house for the foreseeable future. All because we're moving to a city close by for jobs and are still searching for housing. I found this out from several of the people she told. FML
WTF mom?
Today, I came home at 1 am to find my mom sitting on my couch, ranting about how I'm not supposed to stay up this late. I'm 26 and I don't know how she got into my house. FML
Control
Today, I moved out of my parents' house and started living alone. All of a sudden, my parents started requiring me to text or call them every 5 minutes to tell them where I am and what I'm doing, from 6am to 12am every day. If I don't, they will go looking for me, and force me to move back in with them. FML
Committed
Today, I got home and once again my mom started shouting at me for ignoring her and never visiting. For context, I moved from London to Yorkshire to escape the evil cow. She not only found me, she bought the house next door to mine and moved in. I can’t afford to move again any time soon. FML
Controlling
Today, even though I was very clear before I went on holiday that I was going completely zero contact to de-stress, my mother rang at least twice a day. When I stopped answering the phone, she found the direct number of the local police station in a foreign country and sent them to find me. FML
Today, I was talking to my mom about how my fiancé has been ignoring me and that I didn't know why. Turns out, my mother told him that I was too much of a handful, was mentally disturbed and also cheating on him. Just so I wouldn't move out and would keep cleaning her house for free. FML

Today, I tried calling my son yet again, and got no response. I've been calling him for days. I'm worried out of my mind and I'm going to move 600 miles to be with him. FML

That's a stupid FML. She moved not to stalk you, but because she loves you.

Whether she moved because she loves you or not Its your damn fault for not making her understand you an adult. She needs to get over the fact that your not going to be at the house anymore & learn to live with it. You need to be an adult & tell her to leave you alone.

My mother would do the exact same thing. Except, she would be moving further than 600 miles to be near me. Are you the oldest or only child by chance? She's worried, not stalking you.

Your mother is stalking you because she moved closer to you and got concerned when she hadn't heard from you for a few days? Wow, what a terrible mother, really. So caring and wanting to be near her son. FHL that her son doesn't want to be in her life anymore.

I know how you feel. My mom is crazyy like that too. I went away to school at 16. and I'm 19 now and still doesn't realize I'm capable of living on my own and not dying. I went one day with out calling her before I went to bed, and I had forgotten my phone in my friends car. At 2 am My roommate comes into my room with my frantic mother on the phone. The next day I also found out that she called one of my friends as well. And I have no clue how she even got their number... So, I feel for you! You just need to talk to her and tell her that you need to be trusted and able to grow up with out your mom always checking up on you. I did that with my mom and she is slowly making progress.

I'm thinking your "two days" was really a month and a half, and if so, you deserve it. What's so hard about making a five-minute phone call? You're not the freakin' president.

Wow, that's like my parents. Granted im 15, but if I miss just one phone call or Im not home at 9, they go crazy. They call every one of my friends and I get some pretty wierd calls afterwards (They made me write a list of my friends' numbers so they could reach me at any time.) And then when I get home I have to sit through an hour long interrogation about where I was, who I was with and why I didn't answer the phone or how I could be so thoughtless to be out of the house for 2 hours without calling.
