Today, I found an old dress in my house laying around. I decided to dye it green to wear it out on St. Patrick's day. Turns out it was my grandmother's wedding dress that my sister was planning to wear for her wedding. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my grandmother and I turned up to a family function wearing the same outfit. FML
Today, I went to a thrift store and found heaps of clothes that I loved that fit me perfectly. Then I found a special distinctive dress. My dress. My dad had thrown away heaps of my clothes and I had to buy them all back. FML
Today, my grandmother tried to upstage me at my wedding by wearing an actual wedding dress because she "never had a real wedding". FML
Today, it is my wedding day. I couldn't find my very expensive wedding dress anywhere. After almost 2 hours of panic and chaos, I found it in my pool, covered in red paint, with a note on one of my lounge chairs reading, "Today is MY wedding day, bitch." FML
Today, my sister and I got fitted for bridesmaid's dresses. It was pretty sheer material, so I took off my bright pink thong and left it on the changing room hanger. As I was looking at myself in the mirror, a woman came out of the room holding my thong. She had tried it on. FML
Today, I found out where a few of my favorite outfits went. My mother had taken them out of my closet, wrapped them, and given them to my cousin as a gift. FML
Today, I tried to dye my hair blonde. Turns out, green hair doesn't suit me. FML
They're all yours
Today, I was having a garage sale and my mother-in-law came by to see what I was selling. She decided to buy these ugly green wine glasses that were still unopened. It turns out that she gave those to my wife and me when we got married. FML
Today, I walked into my mother's house to find that she had knitted clothes for some of the household appliances. The toaster was wearing a dress. FML
Today, I asked my grandmother to hem my prom dress for me. I'm her oldest granddaughter so I thought she'd be happy to do it. She said no. Her occupation is a seamstress. FML

WTF. So you just find something that isn't yours laying around the house and it was an old dress. You never thought for a second that it belonged to someone and that it wasn't yours to ruin forever? What a dumbass. You owe your sister a wedding dress, plus some.

Why would you just take and die a dress that is not yours? What are you 2? Were you trying to play finders keepers?

1. Don't mess with stuff that isn't yours without asking first. 2. How would you not know about your sister's wedding plans? 3. You don't just wear wedding dresses out for fun on smaller holidays. 4. I hope you're at least female. 5. You deserved this.

Wow, why not ask first next time! What a valuable heirloom ruined now.

Why would you wear a green wedding dress. Did you not look at the style, who wears a long dress on St patricks. I thought it was a white tank top, short shorts or skirt.

I can see how an antique wedding dress may not look like wedding dresses now but it's wasn't yours and 1) what makes you think that by just finding something in your house makes you the owner and can do whatever you want with it? 2)How can you not know about your sister's wedding plans? You're an idiot and you deserved it. And unless the dress was so simple and plain, why would you wear a green dress (and dye it yourself even) to just go out on St. Patrick's Day? If you already owned a green dress or bought one yourself, okay, but that was just unnecessary.

As someone who is getting married in 2 months, I have to say that if you were my sister I would kick your ass. Seriously... You are selfish and stupid for grabbing something that wasn't yours and thinking "hmm.. this would be cool to dye green". I hope someone ruins your wedding day!
