Today, I dropped off my 19 year old daughter at her first job. It's at a strip club. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I walked in on my 15-year-old daughter stripping on Skype for strangers. FML
Proud dad
Today, I learned that when my daughter spent the night at her best friend's house for her 18th birthday, they made her an account on one of those "cam girl" websites, and now every time she goes over there, she masturbates for money in front of strangers. FML
Today, my friends and I went to the strip club for my birthday. I now know how my sister is paying for her new car. FML
Today, my 18 year-old daughter comes home, telling me she has been fired from her job at McDonalds. The reason? They had iCarly Happy Meal toys and she couldn't resist stealing one. FML
Today, my 14-year-old daughter told me she's pregnant and plans on dropping out of school to live a life on the road with her boyfriend. FML
Reality check
Today, I finally turned 21, so my friends and I decided to go to a club. There, I met this hot waitress and we were really hitting it off. I ordered a drink. She replied, "No problem, kiddo." FML
Today, my mom ended up having a midlife crisis. She decided it was finally time to get those tight leather pants that she has always wanted, and is now planning on putting a stripper pole in her room. FML
Today, my 17-year-old employee accidentally called me "Dad". We all got a good laugh from it and went on with our days. Later, after getting her some coins for her cash drawer, she playfully said, "Thanks, Daddy." The customer she was serving? My wife. FML
They'll have anyone these days
Today, I asked my 18 year-old daughter to buy half a dozen donuts. When she brought them over, I opened the box and discovered the dozen donuts were all cut in half. She just got accepted into a prestigious private university. FML
Today, I realized how sad my life is when for my 18th birthday, I went to a strip club, by myself, in GTA V. FML

At least she has a job. Honest living at the end of the day. They pay taxes like the rest of us.

Hey could be worse, she could have been a prostitute.

It's only one step away. Women want equal rights yet go and get naked in front of old grotty men. Oh and they also do lap dances. Eww
downtime 13
245, Men do the same thing, equal rights would actually include the right to do said dances. Denying them this would be the sexist option, idiot.

Why are you posting this? How about you make her stop if you don't like.

She's 19.

She's an adult, her mother can argue as much as she wants but has no power over her.

She can kick her out.

OP, you're the parent. I know she's technically an adult now, but still: What mom says goes. You could try to make her quit.

Why? She made the decision and it doesn't harm anyone. Everyone who goes into a strip club makes the decision. You might not like it, but that's you making it your problem to feel better than everyone else.

for all we know, the strip club couldve been the only place hiring and if i was about 20pounds lighter, id be applying at a strip club too! they can bank pretty damn well if theres good business. quit being close-minded snobs

Having dignity and self respect doesn't make you a close minded snob.
downtime 13
No, suggesting others don't have dignity or self respect because of their career choice does make you a close minded snob.

You're the one that dropped her off! So quit complaining. -_- You could have driven her elsewhere.

She didn't have a job elsewhere, and drivings still safer than public transit if it's in a sketchier part of town.

What strip club is it? Oh, don't worry! I won't be there...

Then why ask?

I know, I suck at joking. No more sarcasm from me. :(

And your supporting her by driving her there...
