Today, I found out that my best friend pays my boyfriend to this day to take me out. FML
Today, my boyfriend is spending a lot of time hyping up his female best friend who is participating in a modeling competition, trying to get her to win. When I asked this guy to help support my small business, he said he, “didn’t have time” to. FML
Today, I called a company to see why the dress I’d ordered for my best friend hadn’t been delivered. After doing some digging and ruining the surprise, it turns out it had been. Her boyfriend opened the package, deemed the dress "too slutty" and threw it out. He refuses to pay me back. FML
Today, I was talking to my best friend about how much of an asshole my ex-boyfriend is. After about 2 hours of non-stop bitching, it turns out she's actually dating him. FML
Today, my boyfriend told his best friend to text my sister telling her to tell me that he was breaking up with me. FML
Today, I texted my boyfriend, saying, "Hi." His response was, "I got your best friend pregnant." FML
Today, I called my boyfriend and a woman answered. Turns out, she's also his girlfriend. She broke up with me on his behalf. FML
Today, my boyfriend introduced me to his best friend. Who just so happened to be the guy who made my high school years a living hell. FML
Today, my best friend called me to cancel our mall plans. I could hear that she was watching a movie in the background. I then called my boyfriend to see if he was busy, and I could hear the same movie in the background. FML
Today, I called one of my old coworkers to see how she was doing. My boyfriend answered the phone. FML

What the hell is wrong with that? It's her body, and all things considered it's really not a bad way to get some funds, especially when paying for something so expensive -- either you get it where you can, or you're stuck with loans and interest for the next twenty years. At least she's not robbing banks or dealing drugs. Stripping isn't even prostitution. If I thought convents had computers, I'd be firmly convinced you were posting this from one. But all that aside, your boyfriend's no keeper. FYL. And if you have any dignity at all, you'll drop him for even saying something like that. Some guys just exist to give life to the stereotype that "men only want one thing". Is it even considered a stereotype if it's actually true in about 75% of males aged 15-30?

I cocktail waitress at a strip club, and my BF comes in occasionally with our mutual friends and I buy him lapdances from the girls I like (because he won't tell me which ones he likes for some reason :) ) OP, open your mind. your friend is showing the same thing for money that woman get drunk and show at the bar for free, what's the big deal? your boyfriend responded in a way that 90% of guys (100% if they are guys like the ones I know) would have. get over it. or leave him and stop talking to her because you are a closed-minded, self-centered prude. they are prolly better off without you :)

Well your boyfriend is an ass but you really shouldn't judge your friend. It's not like she's a prostitute and stripping is a good way to make money. School is expensive. It's her body why should you care.

As long as her employer is reputable and trustworthy and doesn't force her into sexual acts for the clients, and as long as the job isn't causing her issues with body image or self-esteem, why should you have a problem with it? Sure, it's not a waitressing job or anything (and certainly not a job I would ever apply for), but as long as she's happy and safe, it's her job, her body, and her life. And your boyfriend was probably joking. It sounds like something my boyfriend would say....and he and I both laugh over it later.

Even I agree that stripping is better than being a waitress. Especially these days where there's a high chance of Douchebags making the job a LOT harder for you than it should be. Everyone I've ever known to have a waitress job always suffers from stress.
