Today, my best friend called me to cancel our mall plans. I could hear that she was watching a movie in the background. I then called my boyfriend to see if he was busy, and I could hear the same movie in the background. FML

Today, after I invited my friend to a movie and she cancelled on me because she had to study, I obviously agreed and cancelled our tickets, I was scrolling through Instagram stories and came across hers, and saw she was with one of her friends in that same movie theater. FML
Today, I pretended to not be able to go out with a friend so I could hang with my boyfriend at the movies. When I sat down I received a text that said, "Turn around." It was her. FML
Today, I was feeling really upset and called my boyfriend. He said "Can you feel upset a little later? I'm watching a movie." FML
Today, I called my boyfriend and asked if he wanted to come watch a movie. He seemed eager, until I said I needed the company because my period had started. He then went dead silent, waited a few seconds before starting to fake-snore, then hung up on me. FML
Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML
Today, I was video chatting my boyfriend. As we were talking, he answered a phone call. I sat there the whole time as he planned a date with some other girl over the phone. FML
Today, my friend had invited me to his home for a movie night with another friend. I had to decline because I have prior plans. He then revealed that they only wanted me there so I could bring DVDs, but "don't worry, we'll find something on Netflix to watch instead." FML
Today, I called one of my old coworkers to see how she was doing. My boyfriend answered the phone. FML
Today, I had a movie date planned with a guy. After a polite exchange, we were interrupted by a phone call from his colleague saying they had an emergency that needed his attention. He excused himself to take the call, telling me he wouldn't be long. He drove off and blocked my number the moment he stepped out. FML
Today, I went to the movies with a girl I like, then we went to grab a bite afterwards. She spent most of the time telling me how much she dislikes my best friend because he hooked up with a new girl. I then found out the two had been "talking" for a while. FML

although it sounds quite impossible maybe they are watching the same movie(at different places). try finding out what is really happening. but if your boyfriend is really cheating you best leave his and your bff ass. you would be better off without them

So think about it this way. For both phones to pick up the sound the volume would have to be a certain level based on a certain distance away from the tv. Even if it was just a coincidence for the same movie to be playing (statistically possible but unlikely), phones tend to ignore background noise under a certain sound bar and distance away. So the fact that both people were also in the same spacing of a tv makes that coincidence smaller, likely sitting next to one another on a couch. Because while TVs have a certain amount of channels in the hundreds, every room, chair, tv distance & volume option is vast which limits it. So coincidences can and do exist, but it’s safe to assume this isn’t one.
