Today, after we got home from the doctor's office, my mom checked the voicemail. Loud and clear, we both heard my boyfriend's break-up message. My parents had already forbidden me from dating. FML

Your parents will never know if you have an imaginary boyfriend. They're not as troublesome as real ones, although the sex is not all that great.

You're too young to date...maybe when you learn how to spell you can begin dating.

If you have yet to learn how to spell your parents are probably right not to let you.

he most likely knows you are allowed to date and did that anyway

Okay either A) Come clean. B) Pretend he's a psycho and claim that you never dated. Let's go with option A.

I like b....
Llama_Face89 34
What's wrong with option B? Seems plausible.

What? B is clearly better why ce clean?

As everyone who voted for B gets thumbed down.

He was not worth it and your parents probably just didn't want you to get hurt, which you did.
bizarre_ftw 22
No, what they didn't want was to face the fact that a) they're getting older b) they don't have total power over her life c) she won't be their tiny baby forever d) she's becoming and soon will be an adult with her own mind, thoughts, opinions, and life that they can't control

Honestly parents that forbid their kids from dating are just naïve idiots on power trips

he's not worth it if he broke up with you over voicemail. I've gone though crazy break ups my self, and you'll have worse. trust me. but the past is past, and if you get punished then you kinda had it coming for picking a idiot boy.

You must have misheard what your parents said; they forbid you from dating HIM.
