Thanksgiving
Questions about your love life, a burnt turkey and the cousin who knows everything: Thanksgiving, a contact sport.
Today, I have to use the same techniques to trick my 24-year-old husband into brushing his teeth, as I do my 2-year-old. FML
Today, I had to beg my boyfriend to get him to take a shower and brush his teeth. This is a basic weekly argument. FML
Today, I had to show my husband a video on how to brush your teeth. FML
Today, I had to beg and argue with my boyfriend to get him to take a shower and brush his teeth. This has become a recurring argument now we're confined together. FML
Today, I had to explain to my boyfriend why chewing "shit-tons of gum" is not an actual alternative to brushing his teeth. FML
Today, I realized I have to ask my husband if he’s brushed his teeth for the day the same way I have to ask our 5, 7 and 8 year-old children. FML
Today, my boyfriend admitted that he stopped brushing his teeth two days after we started dating. Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary. FML
Today, my boyfriend complained that I "treat him like a child" by asking him if he’s brushed his teeth before we kiss. Gee maybe if he brushed regularly like a fucking adult, I wouldn’t HAVE to ask. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were kissing. Halfway through the kiss, he rubs his tongue along all my teeth and says, "You need to brush your teeth." FML
Today, my husband and I got into an argument over him not brushing his teeth. It ended with him snapping his toothbrush in half. He's 52. FML

A point for every time he brushes his teeth. 5 points for a gold star. And with 2 gold stars he can trade in for a bj.

So, people who bathe also always brush their teeth and people who don't brush their teeth regularly don't bathe?

I don't think it should matter how old your boyfriend is. If you're boyfriend is old enough to date, he should be brushing his teeth on his own without a reward.

Sorry, if he was raised by his mother, she failed to do her job properly. You should consider getting a new boyfriend.

It's not the parents fault about hygiene! I grew up with no water in our house or tooth brushes to clean my teeth! We just couldn't be as clean. As soon as I Moved out on my own I knew what to do! It's not how you were raised it's what you think of yourself!

I don't know about that. At my ex-husband's parents' house, there were all sorts of toothbrushes and such in the bathroom, and I swear in the 6 years of being with him I never saw a family member brush his/her teeth, nor did the toothbrushes ever change. It became obvious that oral hygiene, while they had the supplies, wasn't a priority there. Blegh.
