Today, my family was discussing the new rules of the house we are moving in. They told my sister she couldn't have any boys in her room. They didn't tell me I couldn't have any girls in my room. Even my parents think I can't get a girlfriend. FML

Thats just how parents are, way more protective over their "little girl" when it comes to the opposite sex

Maybe they specifically aren't forbidding you to have girls in your room...

they didn't tell you that you couldnt have girls in your room because they think that. its cuz your a guy and they want you to get some in there

Your parents make rules according to what *house* you're living in? So if you're living somewhere ghetto, your sister can **** around in the front yard, but when you trade up, she can't even have boys in her room? Is that how it goes?

That stinks, maybe just because your a guy? I had a guy come over yesterday, thank goodness my dad wasn't home because he wouldnt have allowed me to be alone with him in my room.

You know how parents are with girls! They protect them too much, especially against "bloodthirsty boys"... They don't even care if you have one, two, or twenty girls in there! But, here's a piece of advice, anyway: if you do, try not to make much noise. It freaks them out...

oh yeah. so true to commentor #1 but my parents arent like that. ive never dateed. and they dont care lmao.

nah, my parents never cared if my brother had sex, but i always had to have the door open if i had a boy in my room. it's double standards, more like **** her life, her parents won't treat her as an equal

Wow When I become a father. I won't let my daughter bring boys to her room, but when it comes to my son... well I guess I am gonna give him some sex education and what not. :D

I think parents are just less protective of boys than of girls. They'll never have to worry about their son getting pregnant.
