Today, my elderly neighbor called the police because my cat was in her yard. I now have a citation and a court date. Apparently, there is a leash law for cats in my town, and it is taken very seriously. FML

For your court appearance, as evidence in your favour, go out and find the meanest bitchiest cat you can. Tell them this is your cat and state: "Your honor if you can put a leash on my cat then presume me guilty!" Obviously the people who wrote the law know nothing about cats!

Good. Why should your cat be able to wander around my yard ******** on everything? Just cause it's a cat does not mean it should be able to go wherever it wants, it's the same as dog or any other pet. If it was annoying me constantly you be lucky if I called the cops!
