Today, I went to get new shoes. I'm a pretty tall girl and I have proportional feet. I asked the cute guy who worked there for a size 9.5. He burst into laughter before putting on a shocked face and saying, "Oh wait... You're serious." Goodbye, self esteem. FML

Today, a male employee at a shoe shop helped me try on shoes. Once I found a pair, I went to pay for them. I was telling the cashier about how great of an employee he was when she told me there were no male employees. A guy with a foot fetish helped me find shoes. FML

Today, I went shopping for a new pair of jeans. I was feeling good about the fact that I was going down a waist size until the cashier decided to discuss with me, three co-workers, and the ten other people in line how she didn't even know jeans came in sizes that big. FML

Today, I was trying on some shoes when I felt the heels break underneath me. Not only did they cost two paychecks worth, but as I was leaving I heard the sales girl say that "we really should have a weight limit for who can try on our products." FML

Today, I was working at a shoe store and was helping a dude try on shoes. He looked like trouble and I wanted to finish with him. When he finally picked his shoes, he abruptly stood up and ran out of the store with the shoes on. The cost of them was deducted from my salary. $240. FML

Today, at work, I was waiting in line to pay my food at the cafeteria when I noticed the doctor who was in front of me had these really cool looking shoes on. I told him, "I like your shoes!" He turned over, looked at me and didn’t say anything back. FML

9.5 isn't even a huge size, I know of women with size 11 feet. Honestly, no one notices your feet, don't worry about it!

Don't worry one bit girl, I'm a size 10 and am pretty damn happy with my feet. Certain shoes can also give the illusion of smaller feet if you feel uncomfortable with their size :)

I know how you feel. I am pretty tall and I wear between 9.5 and 11. depends on the shoe. I was told when I was little just to buy the show box and where it. I thought my mom was gonna punch the salesman in the face LOL. :) you are not alone!!

my 12 year old cousin is 5'11" and wears a size 12, and I'm sure there are tons of tall women with feet the same size as yours - and a 9.5 is perfectly normal. I'm 5'3" and I wear a size 9... nothing wrong with being tall OP! that salesman was just a jackass.
