I know a Marine and every time girls see him in uniform they go crazy (: any girl would be lucky to be dating a Marine so don't be shy! We're not that bad.

You know, I may like to poke fun of Americans, but you guys are so appreciative towards the men and women in the armed forces, it really is a pleasure to see. As for you, OP - I think that's just a shy guy thing. I can make a speech/play saxophone to a huge audience no problem, but give me a pretty girl...tongue-tied xD. FYL.
