Yep, you lost it. The good news (kinda) is that about 90% of people have a shitty first time experience so don't let it bother you. As for the girl.... If it was also her first time then you should take the time to talk to her and see if she is ok. There are lots of things that can make it feel weird or outright funny and she might not have been trying to hurt your feelings.
