Today, I found out that of the three medications I am taking for depression, one causes weight gain, one causes severe weight gain, and one "might cause weight gain." FML

Welbutrin!!!!! Its an anti depressant that causes weight LOSS.

That is pretty counterproductive, wouldn't you say so?

You should probably consider joining a gym. You meet new people and don't get fat. Win win!

Man dont u jus love wen that happens

Between my thyroid problems and despite what society thinks of fat people, being an undereater, I have trouble losing weight and have to work to keep up my metabolism. On top of this, I learned the steroids (not those steroids...) I used to take could cause weight gain, the antidepressants actually made me lethargic so I never felt like getting up to get active, aaaaaaaaand she gave me a second antidepressant that cut my appetite...... sometimes doctor's don't listen, sadly.... yes, they have a medical degree but we know our bodies better than they do and they need to give us more credit than they do.....

Have you thought about just taking One of Them? Three different meditations for the same problem? That is just so very Wrong anf your doctor might be a ****-face. Just saying
