Today, my teacher called me into his office so he that he could pass me some information for my project. Just as he plugged in my thumbdrive, he opened the folder named "School Work". That was the folder name I used to disguise my porn. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I heard a student in the class I assist having trouble with a download. I walked over and showed him how to save to his flash drive, and how to use 7z to unzip said file. I then found out I'd just assisted him in downloading a half gig of porn during class. FML
Today, I was giving a PowerPoint presentation in class. When I put my flash drive into the computer, my folder opened up and a nude picture of myself popped right up on a 110 inch projector screen for all 35 students to see. This is a 16 week course. FML
If I could turn back time…
Today, I got caught checking out my porn collection while working. The embarrassment is compounded by the fact that I work from home, and I only flashed the folder on screen, but it was enough for coworkers to notice and now call me "King Dong". FML
Technologically challenged
Today, during my Zoom PTM my teacher screen-shared his Chrome tab, in which he had opened porn instead of the presentation he had to open, and now mom wants to change my school, where I've been studying in for past 10 years. FML
Today, I discovered that my 15 year old girl had hidden a disgusting porn film in the "future career" folder. FML
Today, my girlfriend decided to be very naughty and placed her underwear in my backpack. I wish she had told me, because it slipped into a folder that contained my project data for my professor. So, after class, I got sent to the Dean of Students' office to talk about sexual harassment. FML
Dirty mind
Today, I saw a folder on my son's PC named "PussyPictures". I sat him down for a talk, only to be told they contained pictures of the James Bond character Pussy Galore, for his essay about sexism in movies. He's now mocking me for "having a dirty mind". FML
Today, I went searching for my old school laptop only to find that my stepdad had swiped it and given it to his mother. My sex tapes and nudes are on it. FML
Today, I had to take my husband's laptop to University for an in-class exam. I opened the screen, and loud porn started to auto-play. The silence in the class was deafening as I tried to make it stop. FML
Today, I found out my teacher writes descriptions next to people's names on the register to remind him who people were. By mistake the descriptions appeared on the computer projector. Next to my name it said "Tubby". FML

Folder within a folder. It's a better hiding mechanism

I'm going to reply to some stupid comments: - Using a Thumb Drive can be convenient if you don't have your own computer and you are looking at **** on the family computer when you are home alone. You don't need to risk keeping stuff on a "public" hard drive that way. - It may not be possible for everyone to look at **** on Internet, because of the history (and other traces). Some people don't know how to erase it, and some people can't afford to erase it (otherwise their dad will ask them some questions). I had a friend who once asked me to put **** on a flash drive for him because of his dad would be suspicious if the history mysteriously vanished. - I'm surprised so few people mentioned this but THE TEACHER HAD NO RIGHT TO BROWSE THROUGH THE THUMB DRIVE. The OP should had been the one opening folders. Basic respect of privacy. Just for this reason I would say THE TEACHER deserved it.

Ok. I've got a genius idea for you. I am by no means a computer wiz, but this is easy and works well. File Encryption! I found this program called TruCrypt (just google it) and will encrpyt a portion of your flashdrive, so no one can read it without a password (a very long password). Then when you look at your flashdrive, you see a (chose file size) 2gb portion of your flashdrive that is unreadable memory. To anyone else, this looks like a junk file that got screwed up by your computer. However, you can decode it using TruCrypt (which decodes only in RAM, not on the flashdrive or your hard drive, therefore even more undetectable). Also, if this is too suspicious for you, then you can make the files invisible, so when you look at your flashdrive, it says 2.6gb empty space, when really 2.6gb of that is for your . . . . whatever. Genius, i know.

And when i say TruCrypt, I really mean TrueCrypt. With an E.
