Today, I realized my mom tells our dogs she loves them more than she says it to me. FML
Today, after leaving my mom's house, I got 4 text messages from her about how I was a terrible person for not saying goodbye to my sister when I left. The "sister" she was referring to is the family dog. FML
Today, I told my mom she made me feel unloved my whole life. She called my sister and apologized. FML
Today, my little sister and I were reading a book together and out of nowhere, she said "I love you." My heart melted and I told her that I loved her too. Then she told me that she was talking to her stuffed animal, not me. FML
Today, my brother joked that our dog was more attractive than I was. I looked to my mom for support, and she said "Well, she is pure bred." FML
Today, my sister teased me about being a mistake baby. When I told my mom what my sister said, her response was "I still love you anyway". FML
Today, I found out my little sister is marrying my ex, and that my mother set them up. FML
Today, I was in the car with my 4-year-old sister and our puppy. Suddenly, she blurted out from the backseat, "I don't love you anymore." Shocked, I asked her to repeat herself. She looked me straight in the eye and said, "The puppy doesn't love you either." FML
Today, my sister asked me to let her dog out of the kennel when I got home. I did only to have the little beast bite me. She then ate the entire content of the cat's litter box, which she couldn't keep down. FML
Today, I realized that I'm going to miss my mom's boyfriend's dog more than I'm actually going to miss him. The relationship is practically over but I've grown fond of his dog. FML

I hate when parents are too stupid to realize the difference between human being and animals, especially their own kin. I understand that animals are precious and should never be mistreated, but some people just go too far.

my mom is the same way with my dog. she's actually picked the dog over my older brother and i... it's a mom thing, i guess? but i love my dog to the ends of the earth and he really is a part of the family. he gets better christmas presents than i do sometimes... cherish it OP, dogs dont live forever!
