Today, I told my mom she made me feel unloved my whole life. She called my sister and apologized. FML
Today, my mom took a picture of me. All she could say about the picture was, "At least your sister is pretty." FML
Today, I told my mom, "I love you". She responded with, "What? I never told you I loved you." FML
Today, while talking to my sister, I explained to her that the reason I hope I end up having a girl is I want my daughter to love me the way I "used" to love my own mother. I didn't mean to say it in the past tense. My sister told my mom. She's planning my baby shower. FML
Today, I heard my sister talking to my mom about me, saying that I have the ability to suck the life out of a room like a Dementor. I walked in and asked what she meant by that. My mom replied, "She means you're an asshole." I love you too, mom. FML
Today, I was on the phone with my little sister as she explained that all these guys like her now that she's so skinny and beautiful. My mom must have overheard me tell my sister that at least I was a cuter child, because my mom laughed and said, "Yeah right, we had to buy you fat kid diapers." FML
Today, I got a text from my mom that said, “I’m so proud of you!” I immediately replied, “Thanks, Mom!” Then I realized it was meant for my sister, and my mom had accidentally texted me instead of her. FML
Today, my sister was upset because she felt like no one liked her. Without thinking, I replied, "It's okay. If I acted like you, people would probably hate me, too." This sounded sympathetic in my head. FML
Today, my mom confessed to loving my "little sister" more than she loves me. My "little sister" is the family dog. FML
Today, my mom came home heavily drunk. As I was taking care of her, she told me all about how I was a mistake. That didn't hurt nearly as much as when she told me she wishes I'd died during her pregnancy. FML

I'd say half of us if not more were "surprises" or "mistakes". Shit happens it's not like our parents don't love us just because we weren't "planned".

I dont think this is a FML. There are a lot of babies that are 'mistakes' or 'accidents'. I was...and so was my sister kind of. My mom was convinced she couldn't have children since she had an irregular period and had a miscarriage. But then she had my sister. and 16 months later I was born. just because you werent planned doesnt mean you arent loved.

My father has also admitted I was a "surprise." In fact, I'm the reason they got married (at least the reason for the timing...). He said "You were not a mistake, I was thrilled." Both my parents were also surprises and both my grandparents will say that they couldn't live without them. There's no problem here. =)
