if someone doesnt smell atrocious does it really matter how much they shower? the human body is never truly "clean" so if you feel clean enough and not gross or if you don't smell terrible i really don't think it matters how much you shower. personally, i shower usually once a day but it depends on many factors, mostly weather. if its a hot day and i sweat up a storm i'll prob shower more. if not, maybe only once a day. just saying, let people shower as much as you want the body will accumulate bacteria anyways. just don't smell and it should affect any other person what you do

#15 showering only does that if you do nothing all day. Everyday I'm working and sweating so showering everyday is fine... Not every other day.

You that means you probably think less than once a day is disgusting... Nice. I shower about twice a week, no one complains about me smelling and I always check. I barely sweat, don't work out, don't go in dirty surroundings... it's really not needed.

I think your girlfriend's implying you shower less then 3 times a week, which in my opinion, is incredibly gross. It could also be that you aren't taking appropriate steps after you take a shower, or you don't look clean. You can only shower once every other day and look perfectly clean, it all depends on how you go about doing it. Maybe it's something like you aren't shaving? Or maybe you smell? Your hair could be greasy? True, you can never be 100% clean, but you can be at least a little considerate of others when you want them to be around you.

Uh i shower every day. If I don't I feel uncomfortable. For example if I skip shower in the morning cause i'm late. I feel like my hair's greasy even if it really doesn't look like it. So to feel "clean" and comfortable i shower everyday. Except on lazy weekends sometimes =)

I agree. I find it quite gross that alot of people do not take showers everyday. It's even more disgusting if you're a girl since we have periods. I couldn't go without taking a shower especially when its that time of the month. Gross.

I have problems with these two comments. 1, you never *have* to do something. It's choice. And that's not even logical; the number of showers you take a week depends on your lifestyle. And 2, girls don't have periods everyday. It may be a tad gross if they do have it at that moment and don't shower that day, but periods are only a couple times a month, at a certain time.

Perhaps she wasn't saying that she only showers three times a week. Perhaps she was saying you need to shower more. Take a hint.

Taking a shower every other day is perfectly reasonable. That's what I do, unless I am on holiday or something of the sort, then it's daily. However, every time I take a shower I shave and wash my hair, and I feel perfectly clean for that day and the next. I think it's a little weird to shower twice a day though. And some people don't have time to shower daily also. So don't hate, haha

with me i only take a shower every other day or so. my hair is naturaly wavy (not the cute wavy but the ugly poofy wavy) so i flat iron it after the shower and just ski[ the next day. and in truth i HATE showers and taking a shower morning and night would be tortureplus if you think about it everyother night on a 7 day week... shower =x no shower =o XoXoXoX which is 3 showers a week no biggy if you shower every other day so in truth its not bad at all
