if someone doesnt smell atrocious does it really matter how much they shower? the human body is never truly "clean" so if you feel clean enough and not gross or if you don't smell terrible i really don't think it matters how much you shower. personally, i shower usually once a day but it depends on many factors, mostly weather. if its a hot day and i sweat up a storm i'll prob shower more. if not, maybe only once a day. just saying, let people shower as much as you want the body will accumulate bacteria anyways. just don't smell and it should affect any other person what you do

showering every other day is fine. showering and washing your hair every day depletes your body of its natural oils

You don't need to shower every day. It can damage and dry out skin and hair (though not necessarily) and is time consuming. Before anyone says anything about the time-thing, not everyone has a shower and may only have a bath tub.

Having a bath takes more time than having a shower due to running it and, if washing your hair, the fallen out hair can be annoying. I only have a bath three times a week - no one complains about me smelling or being dirty and my friends would be HARASSING me about it if I was.

Also, those who will call me a slob or dirty because of it, are wrong. In fact, I have quite a strong case of OCD and if I only need three baths a week to make sure I don't "freak out" then I can honestly say that you don't NEED to bathe every day.

Those who do bathe every day do it because that's what they feel comfortable with and they can do that, but they can't be mean to those who have different preferences. It's just plain rude. (These messages are small and spread out because my phone is stupid.)

I shower every other day. However since I work in a pool I have to showery everyday or my hair will get ruined!

You don't have to shower every day to be clean. As long as you aren't sweating or have really oily skin or live in a humid area, you can shower/bathe every other day..I don't, because of my severe OCD, but it's not bad if you do that as long as you don't do/have/live in the conditions above.

i dont take a shower everyday. i bleach my hair alot so if i wash it everyday it gets too dry. and if my hair gets wet without washing it, it looks oily. so i take one about every other day. and i never get gross. im also only about 125 pounds and dont sweat alot. everybodys different. just because u dont shower everyday doesnt make u dirty or gross. and just because u shower everyday doesnt make u ocd. come on guys.
