Wow, you couldn't let her keep three quarters? Did you think this would happen: *Mugger: give me at least 75 cents or I blow your brains out! *You: Curse my evil girlfriend, she has killed me!

"Stole"? Hm. Let me make sure I understood. She took it without your knowledge, and you noticed 75 cents missing? Then you hunted down your girlfriend for 75 cents, confronted her about it, fought with her over it, and finally forced her to give 75 cents back? ...FYL, dude, FYL indeed. Right now, you're probably stripping her of every one of your gifts that you've ever gave her, down to that 3 dollar lingerie, and you're sending her a bill for every one of your shared meals that you've ever paid for. Oh wait, you've never given her any gifts. Neither did you ever pay for anything. And after that episode with 75 cents, she's probably wondering what kind of a husband you're going to be. Bet she imagined how you give her twenty dollars for groceries for a week and demand that she bring the receipts back, so that you may examine what exactly did she waste the money at, and if she stole anything from you.

he doesnt make any sense... hes just making up the story as he thinks it happened, he has no proof of how it really went down and is just assuming and putting a judgement on his assumptions... pretty weak actually

The way OP phrase it, he sounds like he's actually saying "It was only 75 cents!! What the hell!?" If this is correct, why not let the girl keep it? Obviously it's "Only 75 cents." I really want to call her a bitch, because if she broke up with OP, she doesn't love him, and shouldn't be asking to keep shit. ugh. Stupid people are stupid.

People, is not about quantity, is about trust and respect. And I don't have any reasons in mind why she should keep the money she stole. If she can't talk with her boyfriend about borrowing 1$ and she has to STOLE, well, "**** her mind" :>

u got rid of her for 75 cents. that's good u don't need her if she that shallow and cheap

how lame and cheap are you that you wouldn't let your girlfriend keep 75 cents? I wouldn't want to date you either!
mightymart 5
how lame and cheap are you to steal 75 cents from your boyfriend?!

I would hardly call taking 75 cents from her boyfriends truck "stealing"! I wouldn't think twice about taking 75 cents out of my boyfriends car and neither would he. because in a relationship you share. And if you really think that is stealing you are just as petty as he is.

so what if they actully needed that money for somthing like, parking or a toll or they give someone a lift and notice it is gone. It's more about having the common sence to ask them befor you take it instead of only thinking of your own needs

Some people just don't think and act the same way you do. Everyone was brought up differently and if some people think it's okay to just take little things here and there from close ones without asking, well some others just don't like it. I personally do NOT appreciate having people going through my stuff, touching and grabbing my things with permission and I especially do not like people taking ANYTHING from me without even considering asking me if they could. Apparently, some people think it's okay to just not respect the privacy of the other since they're in a couple. In my opinion, being in a couple does not justify making yours things that aren't. Cuz that's basically what is called stealing. You take something from a person without his/her conset or him/her knowing and claim it to be yours. Having principles on stealing does not mean he is a cheapstake. I'd guess that most people who call him that are, themselves, the kind of persons that would just take little amounts of cash now and then without telling anybody, knowing somewhere deep inside that it's wrong but still getting the kick out of it. $0,75 cents is not much by some standards, but money is still money. If you let one stealing episode slip without even saying "Uhm, you know, I'm not sure I really like it when you just take things from me behing my back.." then who knows how long it will go on? And who knows, maybe the girlfriend took a few cents here and there when she saw coins lying around. Maybe it's the first time she got caught but not the first time she did it. And at the end of the year, a few cents here and there make a rather nice sum. And fact is: even if you're in a relationship, you don't just take money from someone else and use it however you want.
